i've gone through the same journey finding Morissette then other OPM singers then to XG who led me into a Kpop discovery because of where they promote themselves. it's been an ongoing wonderful journey. i wil say that i had to do some digging to teach the algorithm to show me specific things and me being willing to wade through songs i didn't quite care for but the gems that eventually get uncovered make it all worth it. i make sure to save songs i like to playlists to never lose them and to continue digging for more and more.

I agree with you both. We had the same experience. The first time I watched Morissette's "Akin Ka Na Lang", I was like, "why didn't I see this before?", and subsequently found out she has so many Wish Bus performances, and all of them are, to borrow your word, "outstanding". "Never Enough", "Rise Up", "Secret Love Song", "Naririnig Mo Ba", "Diamante", "You and I", and many more. Morissette never disappoints. And I learned that she has this in mind whenever she performs, that is to give it her best. She said it herself. She has set high standards for herself, and now we understand why every performance is amazing! 🥰

for something very different that shows her incredible vocal versatility you have to check out her stages session with broadway musicals. it is phenomenal! someone like you, she used to be mine and defying gravity are absolute world class, the best versions I have heard, she would rule Broadway, in a genre she is not very comfortable with according to Mori herself, unbelievable.

dimash is incredible on high notes but he can never defeat morissette bec she is phenomenal. high notes is not a benchmark to be a supreme voacalist. morissette can hit not just high notes but spectacular high notes. degree of difficulty, quality and totality.
