Reutte is a market town in the Austrian state of Tyrol, located in the district of the same name. It lies near the border with Germany, specifically close to the Bavarian town of Füssen.
Reutte is situated in the Lech Valley, surrounded by the scenic Alps, offering picturesque views and a variety of outdoor activities.
The town has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. It became an important trade hub in the Middle Ages due to its strategic position on the salt route between Hall in Tirol and the Lake Constance region.
