  • This 7th Day Adventist Pastor Michael Evans thinks he can outsmart Apostle Pastor Gino Jennings. He started by accusing Jennings of blaspheme. Truth of God did not let his flip flop get away with it. At the end he ended up he was the one who blaspheme. A heated debate.

If you believe in Jesus Christ then you should understand the old testament is for our study and new testament is from Jesus the Son of God and God himself died and rise up on the day to fulfill His love for mankind for whom that believe in him (new testament shall be saved and not perish).

The first day of the Hebrew week is Sunday, which is Yom rishon in Hebrew, meaning "first day". The Hebrew week has seven days, mirroring the seven days of the Book of Genesis, and ends on Saturday, which is cErev shabbat, meaning "eve of Sabbath". The other days of the week are named after their order, with the exception of Shabbat. For example, Yom shani means "second day", Yom shlishi means "third day", Yom reveci means "fourth day", Yom khamshi means "fifth day", Yom shishi means "sixth day", and Yom ha-shabbat means "day of Sabbath".

The Bible and the Appearance of the Seven-Day Week ... The Hebrew name of the rest day Sabbath came from Babylonian name of the rest day sabbatum (Babylonians, like ancient Romans, used 7-8-day week determined by Lunar phases). The Hebrew names of the days of the week are numerical: Sunday - Yom rishon- "first day", Monday -Yom shani- "second day", Tuesday -Yom shlishi- "third day", Wednesday -Yom reveci- "fourth day", Thursday -Yom khamshi- "fifth day", Friday -Yom shishi- "sixth day" and cErev shabbat -"eve of Sabbath", Saturday -Yom ha-shabbat- "day of Sabbath".

With the exception of the Shabbat, the weekdays have no names. They are simply numbered: yom rishon = "first day" = (Sunday) yom sheni = "second day" = (Monday) yom sh'lishi = "third day" = (Tuesday) yom revi'i = "fourth day" = (Wednesday) yom chamishi = "fifth day" = (Thursday) yom shishi = "sixth day" = (Friday)
The Hebrew calendar is based on the moon and the sun, and the Jewish year has 354 days. The Jewish day begins at sundown, when three stars become visible in the sky. The Gregorian calendar, which is used in most countries, is derived from the Hebrew calendar.

When God said "Remember" He said so because God had intimated them about it in Exodus 16:23,25. The giving of the Sabbath to the Jews came before the giving of the ten commandments. Again, God clear specify what the Sabbath was. It was not a moral law like te rest of the nine commandments. It was a sign between him and Israel. It was not a moral law but a sign and a covenant between Him and Israel. I, a gentile dog who before the coming of Christ had no such covenant relationship with God. I came in through Christ into a better relationship with God. No where in the new testaments is a single admonition to keep the sabbath.

If we read the Bible David was given the shewbread to eat and the sword of Goliath too. It’s just like when a man steals for greed and evil, and when a a man steals for his family to eat because he was asking and pleading for a job and didn’t receive one. Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”. (TOTAL 6).

Just because Jesus did not state that the SABBATH DAY must be kept, it does NOT mean that it had been abolished by Jesus! QUESTION: Jesus did NOT state the first four commandments, DOES THIS MEAN THE FIRST FOUR COMMANDMENTS WERE ABOLISHED? Can we NOW worship other Gods, worship idols, misuse the name of God? MATTHEW 5:18,19 Jesus said “For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven”. “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, IS A LIAR, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4). “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all”(JAMES 2:10)?

Perhaps you should spend more time reading your Bible, because if you did you would have known that Christ Jesus BROKE the Sabbath. The Truth of the scriptures is that “not only had He [ Christ] broken the Sabbath, but he claimed that God was His Father…” and He tells us Himself that, like the priests of the tribe of Levi, he had ‘profaned the sabbath and was guiltless’. Who created the Sabbath? Who is LORD of the Sabbath?? JESUS!!!! HE MAKES THE RULES!! NOT MAN!!!
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:13, 16-17).
According to you, GOD IS A LIAR!!!!!
      ----What does John 5:18 mean?
The Gospel of John often uses the Greek term Ioudaioi, which is translated as "the Jews." As John uses it, the word refers to the religious leaders of Jerusalem. This includes the Pharisees, Sadducees, and temple scribes. The Pharisees, in particular, were known for their legalism and traditions. These added-on rules were part of their interpretation of the law of Moses. Jesus, knowing that their approach to the Law was cold and hypocritical, often deliberately provoked these men over their errors (Luke 13:10-17; Matthew 12:9-14). According to John 5:16, the mere fact that Jesus was breaking traditional views of the Sabbath was enough to earn their persecution.
In verse 17, Jesus raises the stakes even further. He claims not only that God is His Father, but that the work He is doing is equivalent to the work done by God. The religious leaders, in particular, understand exactly what that implies. Jesus is telling other people that He is God. If that's not true, it's blasphemy, and this adds to the hatred He receives from the Pharisees.
Contrary to common suggestion, Jesus does in fact claim divinity in many New Testament texts. This verse shows that Jesus and the disciples are not the only ones who grasp His meaning.
--THere was NO problem in keeping the Sabbath! It was HOW to keep it!!!

NO WHERE does Jesus say HE disobeyed the Sabbath!!!! The penality for disobeying it was DEATH by stoneing!!!
btw--had He disobeyed the Sabbath, THAT WOULD make Him a sinner, NOT qualified to be our savior!!!! THat MAKES you STILL UNDER the stain of SIN!!!

@@mitchellosmer1293 Quoting Matthew 3:13, 16-17 and then saying that according to me God is a liar smacks heavily of a straw man fallacy wherein you are putting words into my mouth, misrepresenting my position when clearly, I've made no such argument. When Christ was baptized by John, He was no longer a child. In Matthew 12 Christ, who was of the tribe of Judah and was neither a priest nor a Levite, openly confessed to “doing that which was unlawful for him to do” and “profaning the Sabbath” simply because “In this place is one greater than the temple, [ and] the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day”. Christ made no appeal to the law of Moses to justify the actions of His disciples. There is not one word about properly obeying the commandments concerning the Sabbath here at all. I refer you to Matthew 12:1-8.
Then, we are plainly told by the Holy Spirit that Christ “had broken the Sabbath [ and] said that God was His Father”:
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work [ on the Sabbath].
Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
The Holy Spirit did not inspire the apostle to tell us "They thought He had broken the Sabbath." We are rather told that His Father works on the Sabbath, and Christ did too, and therefore the Jews sought to kill Him. Those who are given "eyes that see" will notice that the apostle John never refers to the Jewish festivals as the festivals of God. He actually goes to great lengths to distance himself from that entire economy by calling them “a feast of the Jews” or “the Jews feast…” John 5:1; John 6:4 and John 7:2 refer.
Christ’s example to the Pharisees was one of law breaking, not law observance. Actually, David committed a serious infraction of the law of God. He and his companions entered the Tabernacle of God (and if this entry was into the Holy Place, even that entry was illegal). They also unlawfully ate the consecrated bread. David even committed this sin on the Sabbath day itself. Compare 1 Samuel 21:6 with Leviticus 24:8. This is one of the reasons Christ used David’s example of lawbreaking in defense for His own disciples when they also violated the Sabbath rules.
Christ was telling the Pharisees that since David had broken the law on the Sabbath and without retribution, His disciples also had permission from Him to break the Sabbath law. David broke Temple laws, but Christ said, “In this place is one greater than the Temple” (Matthew 12:6). Christ was the One who created the Temple and the Sabbath in the first place. He was the One who formerly allowed David to break the Temple and Sabbath laws. And now Christ was commanding His disciples also to break the Sabbath laws. “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” (verse 8).
The Sabbath belonged to Christ. He was its Lord and could do with the Sabbath as He pleased. If Christ was the Son of God on earth (which He was), no one could hold Him accountable for doing with His own creation as He wished.
To further strengthen His case, Christ said:
“Have you not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the Temple profane the Sabbath and are blameless.” Matthew 12:5
Christ taught that the priests profaned the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments, not that they profaned the ritualistic Sabbath of Moses with their physical ceremonies at the altar. The Ten Commandments clearly demanded all people to rest. The command in the Decalogue was all-inclusive, without exception. But the priests were allowed to break that Commandment law in order to perform rituals in the Temple. Indeed, the priests worked more on the Sabbaths than on ordinary weekdays because the sacrifices were doubled on those days (Numbers 28:9-10).

One of the things that people do not contemplate is this: why did God not allow Moses to write the ten commandments. When Moses came down from the mountain and broke the tablets on which the commandments were written, why did God not allow him to rewrite them? He had to go back up the mountain for God to rewrite them with His own finger. If people would think about this, they would not question the 7th day Sabbath. God allowed Moses to write the ceremonial laws, written on parchment. The ten commandments were inscribed on rock.

I don't know how when something is so plain and crystal clear and written, people seek to go around it because of their their tradition. People seem to love their own tradition than what the holy scriptures say. Lack of proper understanding and knowledge is keeping many in the dark, and they wrestle a lot to keep what they assume to be right other than the truth of scripture. They just refuse to understand or look into it with critical thinking and open-mindedness. Just be open for the Holy Spirit to teach you and for you to know the truth. You have to open up your mind. Don't be shut down by your tradition. Your tradition can be so wrong and leading you nowhere. People just got to be humble to learn; without that, they cannot learn; they will uphold tradition above every truth.

@@TheEnlightened77 There is a difference between ceremonial sabbaths which could happen any day of the week versus God's perpetual weekly Sabbath instituted from creation (Genesis 2:2-3). The ceremonial sabbaths like Yon Kippur, Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Firstfruits, Passover were shadows, not God's cemented weekly Sabbath. The Bible says we will even be observing it in the new earth:
      KJV Isaiah 66:22-23
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

@@markbihmsmusic There is no instruction concerning the Sabbath Day until the time of Moses. We are told plainly in the Holy Scriptures that the Sabbath Day as a command came into effect only in the time of Moses (Nehemiah 9:14; Ezekiel 20:12; Exodus 16:23). We cannot pick and choose for ourselves what is and what is not “fulfilled” or “done away” in Christ (Deu 4:2, Deu 12:32, Jer 26:2, Rev 22:18-19).
Matthew 5 reveals to us that the 10 commandments are a morphosis, a form of godliness, not the spirit or power of godliness that Christ is revealing here for the first time. If this is not so, then there would have been no need for the “Sermon on the mount”.

    • @markbihmsmusic
      @markbihmsmusic Před 4 měsíci

@TheEnlightened77 I would carefully consider your analysis of a plain thus saith The Lord. Why else would God instruct the children of Israel in the 4th commandment to "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy..." If they hadn't already forgotten it while being in Egyptian captivity? So yes, before the children of Israel were taken into captivity by the Egyptians they had a knowledge of and kept the Sabbath. Please read Exodus 20:8-11 carefully. It points to creation when the Sabbath was instituted in Gen 2:2-3, so that's where we first see it, not in the Book of Exodus. God also did not need to tell Adam and Eve to remember to keep the Sabbath holy in a sinless and already holy and perfect environment, especially because man already knew and understood what it meant to be holy under Gods direct instruction until that first sin that ruined and marred God's creation. God also did not need to rest at all Himself even though scripture clearly says He did. God simply rested as an example for man to rest who actually needed it, both physically and spiritually. To say no one, including Adam, Eve, Noah, Enoch, Elijah, etc, did not keep a single Sabbath is absolutely not true whatsoever and is flawed theology? Brother, that is a deep deception. To not acknowledge the Sabbath is to not acknowledge God as Creator, especially since the 4th commandment points to Him just as that... The Creator of Heaven and Earth. The scripture you used in Matthew 5 concerned the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the mount, and does not take away from an observance of ALL of God's commandments. Brother you justify breaking God's Law so you might as well steal, committ adultery, and bear false witness because the Bible clearly says that if you offend in one point, you are guilty of all (James 2:10). There is no half stepping with God. The Sabbath did not come into effect when Moses came on the scene. It had been kept from creation. Please read (Mark 2:27) again. The Greek word for man in the verse is anthropos or mankind not just Jew. That's very clear, Brother. In fact, the very definition of sin is lawlessness, specifying that God's Law, including the Sabbath, has always been, and it will forever be. Otherwise, sin would not exist. That's clear when you read 1 John 3:4 that sin is lawlessness or the "transgression of the law." It's clear what law is being spoken of when you read the context also. Christ never did away with the decalogue part of the law, including the Sabbath, which is clearly a part of it. That's why He clearly said in the same sermon on the mount that you tried to use to disprove the Sabbath commandment to "think not that I have come to destroy the law or the prophets..." (Matt 5:17). The context clearly shows that he was speaking of the decalogue or ALL ten of the commandment, the Sabbath included. There is no such thing as keeping only 9 of them.

Where does the Bible say that we are to into a new rest?
      Inter into His rest
      WHAT IS GOD'S REST
      Hebrews 4:1-11 (KJV)
      1. Let us therefore FEAR, lest, a promise being left us of ENTERING INTO HIS REST, any of you should seem to COME SHORT OF IT.
      2. For unto us was the gospel preached, AS WELL AS UNTO THEM: but THE WORD PREACHED did not PROFIT THEM, NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH in them that heard it.
      3. FOR WE which have BELIEVED DO ENTER INTO REST, AS HE SAID, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into MY REST: although the WORKS WERE FINISHED from the FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. (CREATION)
      4. For he spake in a certain place OF THE SEVENTH DAY on this wise, And GOD DID REST THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS.
      5. And in this place again, If they shall ENTER INTO MY REST.
WHAT IS GOD'S DAY OF REST?
(Genesis 2:2 (KJV) And on THE SEVENTH DAY GOD ended his work which he had made; AND HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
      6. SEEING THEREFORE IT REMAINETH THAT SOME MUST ENTER THEREIN, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF:
      7. AGAIN, HE LIMITETH A CERTAIN DAY, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, TO DAY IF YE WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS.
      8. FOR if JESUS HAD GIVEN THEM REST, THEN WOULD HE NOT AFTERWARD HAVE SPOKEN OF ANOTHER DAY.
Why is it that in verse 4. Speaks of the Seventh day Sabbath is being identified as God's day that He rested, Genesis 2: 3
GOD BLESSED the SEVENTH DAY, and SANCTIFIED IT: "SANCTIFIED IS TO MAKE HOLY, TO SET APART"
and in verse 6. He is instructing that some must inter in because of their unbelief.
      9. There REMAINETH therefore a REST TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD.
      10. For he that is entered INTO HIS REST, "What is His rest? The Seventh day Sabbath" also hath ceased from his own works, AS GOD DID FROM HIS.
      11. Let us labour therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST,
LEST ANY MAN FALL AFTER THE SAME EXAMPLE OF UNBELIEF.
There is nothing in the scriptures that give any indication that Jesus or the Father is now disregarding the Seventh-day Sabbath. The day that he rested, blessed, made Holy, and instructing us to do as He did
to that Jesus is our rest.
The danger is this, verse 11. If we do not labour therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST,
LEST ANY MAN FALL AFTER THE SAME EXAMPLE OF UNBELIEF.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CLEARLY DIVIDED "MORAL" AND "CEREMONIAL" LAWS.
THE BIBLE DOES NOT CALL THE 10 COMMANDMENTS "MORAL LAWS".
THE BIBLE DOES NOT CALL THE BOOK OF THE LAW "CEREMONIAL LAWS".
NT ETHICS COME TO THE NT BECAUSE CHRISTIANS FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT LED LIFE. SDAs can NOT comprehend this because it is obvious that nearly 100 percent of SDAs are NOT born again of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14, 2 Corinthians 3:14-18, Romans 8:9,14). You can NOT follow a STRANGER and be born again (John 10:5).
HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT SDAs ARE SPIRITUAL PERVERTS WHO DO NOT ABIDE IN THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED???
      1 Tim 6:3~5 NKJV, 2 John 1:9-11 GNT.
SDAs are so doctrinally ridiculous and spiritually hopeless, they base their whole religion on 10 out of 613 Commandments ripped out of their legal CONTEXT... plus Deuteronomy 14:8 inconsistently thrown into the mix.
SDAs show all the characteristics of low information heretics who are not born again and therefore have NO SALVATION ~ Romans 8:9,14.
The SDA "TWO SEPARATE" LAWS" PHILOSOPHY is rabid cult heresy illustrating the fact that most SDAs have no perception that Christians follow Jesus Christ.
SDAs DENY the teachings of Christ as recorded by the Apostles that have a COMMONALITY of legal themes with laws of Moses.
The Ten commandments don't even tell a person to assemble as a religious assembly on the Sabbath. That is found in EGW's "ceremonial" law of Lev. 23: 3. The 10 C's only forbid work.
The Law of God was approx. 613 Commandments.
      [www.jewfaq.org/613.htm](www.jewfaq.org/613.htm?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR2vwVV6JhKq-G2ETB4TLNGFs9PxZLRSqWCyMh6NymKzN5kvLdGTzNwbYzA_aem_AdZoIOP31D4CmcQK6RgnrlRDsD9EO8I7Ok1FNhEMnvMBBs2rPojmizlU5rQVKc1uCc7Asld8UvAc9Wq1n1O8V20a)
THESE WERE NOT EXCLUSIVELY CEREMONIAL. THERE WERE MORE NON RITUAL ("MORAL") LAWS IN THE 613 THAN IN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
Anyone who thinks that these are "ceremonial laws" is contradicting Jesus Christ - "proud and knowing nothing" (1 Tim. 6:3-5):
So is it OK to seek revenge or be unforgiving (Leviticus 19:18; Col. 3:13; Eph. 4:32) ???
Is it OK to show favouritism (Lev. 19:15; James 2:1,9) ???
Is it OK to be unholy (Lev. 19:2; 1 Peter 1:15,16) ???
Is it OK to test God. (Deut. 6:16; Matthew 4:7) ???
Man does NOT live by bread alone but by every word of God Deut 8:3 (Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4). BUT Deut 8:3 was NOT "written by the finger of God".
Is it OK to add to God’s revelation with something that is man-made (Deut. 18:20; Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Jn. 9-11; Rev. 22:18).
Is it OK TO NOT LISTEN TO CHRIST! (Deut. 18:15; Matthew 17:5; Acts 3:22) - How can this be a law which does not show sin???
Is it OK to practice magic/occultism (Exodus 22:18; Rev. 22:15)???
Is it OK to disrespect government authorities (Exodus 22:28; Acts 23:5; Romans 13:1-7)???
Is it OK to mistreat orphans and widows (Exodus 22:22,23; James 1:27) ????
Is it OK to convict a person on the testimony of one witness (Deut. 19:15; Matthew 18:16; 2 Cor. 13:1) ???
Is it OK to NOT confess our sins (Lev. 5:5; 1 John 1:8,9) ???
Is it OK to be unequally yoked (Deut. 22:10; 2 Cor. 6:14)???
Is it OK to NOT show mercy (Lev. 25:35-43; Matthew 9:13) ???
We are to be full of faith and not unbelieving as Israel was (Deut. chapter 1: Numbers chapter 13; Psalm 78:18-22; Hebrews 11:6; John 3:18).
We are not to lead the blind astray (Lev.19:14; Matthew 15:14).
We should “…rebuke your neighbour frankly so that you will not share in his guilt” (Leviticus 19:17 NIV). However to SDAs this also would be a “ceremonial law” as this too is not listed in the Ten Commandments. Jesus also says: “If your brother sins rebuke him..” (Luke 17:3 NIV).
      Deuteronomy 27: 26 is a principle also stressed in the N.T. - Galatians 3: 10.
Christian ethics have a new reference point - Jesus Christ (Titus 2:11-14; Romans 12:1-2).
Pride is a sin condemned by both the Old Testament and New.
These are NOT based on the Ten Commandment but are based on Deut. 6: 4,5 Lev. 19:18 as quoted by Jesus in Matt. 22:36-40.
The MOST IMPORTANT COMMANDMENTS were NOT INCLUDED in the 10 commandments. They were found in that which Doug Batchelor WRONGLY calls the "ceremonial law" - Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 as quoted by Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40.

There was no need for Christ to tell the desiples to keep the Sabbath as He instructed in the Old Testament because they were already keeping it and continued to keep it.
    Luke 4:14-16 (KJV)
    14. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
    15. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
    16. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, AS HIS CUSTOM WAS, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
It was Christ custom to keep the Seventh Day Sabbath since creation when He rested from all His work.
Did the deciplrs continue to keep the Seventh Day Sabbath after Christ death and resurrection?
    Acts 17:2 (KJV)
    2. And Paul, AS HIS MANNER WAS, WENT IN UNTO THEM, AND THREE SABBATH DAYS reasoned with them OUT OF THE SCRIPTURES,
How about the Greeks and the Gentiles? Did the keep God's Seventh Day Sabbath.
    Acts 13:13-15 (KJV)
    13. Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
    14. But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, AND WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH DAY, and sat down.
    15. AND AFTER THE READING OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
    Acts 13:42-44 (KJV)
    42. And WHEN THE JEWS WERE GONE out of the synagogue, THE GENTILES besought that THESE WORDS MIGHT BE PREACHED to them THE NEXT SABBATH.
    43. Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
    44. AND THE NEXT SABBATH DAY CAME ALMOST THE WHOLE CITY TOGETHER TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD.

Right and he never broke it. He was accused of breaking it for healing people. He asked them if their sheep fell into the well if they wouldn’t save it.
Then said it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
      This is basic stuff.
I haven’t even been and don’t be in my Bible like this guy and even I know he’s misinterpreting that scripture. Either he’s a fool or a slickster and I don’t believe his stupid.

Please, tell me about the knew rest? Isaiah 28:11-12
That was prophecy about the Holy Spirit give us rest and yet the people didn’t hear. What about the day of Pentecost? Was that on the sabbath? The apostles preached and healed etc on different days. Be ye holy for I AM holy. Holiness is a lifestyle, it’s everyday. To keep the sabbath day holy…. What calendar are you going by? That does matter too.

    • @michaelmorse4312

      Isaiah 28:12 (KJV)
To whom he said, This is the REST wherewith ye may cause the WEARY to REST; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
This rest is not a new rest nor is it just speaking of God's seventh day Sabbath rest from your Six days of labor. This is speaking of a rest from the heartaches, frustrations, triles, and toils of this this life that can make us weary.
This is what Jesus is speaking of when He says come unto me, all ye that LABOUR and are HEAVY LADEN, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST.
      29. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, and LEARN OF ME; for I am MEEK and LOWLY in heart: and YE SHALL FIND REST UNTO YOUR SOULS.
      30. For MY YOKE IS EASY, and MY BURDEN is light.
No where is these verses does christ say that he is our rest. He say that he will GIVE us rest. Jesus says for us to take His YOKE
Upon us and LEARN of his ways.
      Transliteration of Yoke
      Greek: ζυγός
      Transliteration: zugos
      Pronunciation: dzoo-gos'
Definition: From the root of ζεύγνυμι zeugnumi (TO JOIN ESPECIALLY BY a YOKE); a coupling
The beam of the balance (as connecting the scales)
      PAIR OF BALANCES YOKE.
KJV Usage: yoke (PAIR OF BALANCES)
Which implies that Jesus is saying let's carry this woke together.
      Learn my ways
His is MEEK and LOWLY in HEART.
We are to be MEEK and LOWLY in HEART. THEN we will FIND REST unto our souls.
What Christ is saying learn of His ways, copy him, carry his yoke because he will show us how to deal with the trials of this life he will give us rest from how we deal with the trials of this life.
This is not a replacement of God's 4th commandment to remember The Seventh DAY SABBATH. This is a type of rest in our Lord wear we can lay all the burden of our life on that YOKE and he is going to take the bulk of the Load on his shoulders.
      What a loving God

It's great that we have good leaders but do your own reading because we are spending time with God and He speaks to us at that time. Also many church leaders don't teach about the whole book of Revelations because of the difference in understanding. In all our getting we are to get understanding.
