I've had good results filling deep scratches with epoxy resin and finishing the surface in the same way as you

One option for deep scratches is clear UV setting resin. I’ve had some success with that - as long as it can fully penetrate into the scratch so that no air bubbles form. Alternatively, the remaining scratches can be ‘celebrated’ - like the lines on an ageing face that tell of a life well-led!

Nice work. I’m trying to restore a BSE Fisher turntable. It’s in working condition but still needs a few fixes. Like the dust cover.

@@ericwong3096 madali lang po ang pagpolish sir may mga link ako sa video na to check lang ang description box. At kailangan may maghawag sa dust cover para hindi lilipad ang dust cover.

I have one of these, everything works but when you hit the start button for autoplay the arm moves about 10 seconds into the start of the first song, is there something i can adjust to make it land closer to the edge of the record?

Check the bottom of this turntable find the hole with a mark "L in" it means lead in you can adjust here the landing of your turntable use a flat screw drive. This is trial and error to adjust. It means turn right or left a little then check the landing until you get your desired landing.

This turntable has fixed RCA cables. How easy is it to replace that?

If you like to make a detachable cable is very simple. Cut the rca cable at the end of the turntable casing drill two holes to mount two rca jacks in the plastic casing. Solder the remaining wires attached in the turntable to the rca jack now you have an rca phono out.
