The game room is very clean & very well-organized display of the games.
The way you put in “one console and their accessories” in one plastic storage container is the same method as mine.

Really lovely stuff, as always. Of course I came here, ultimately, to pay my respects to the spiritual home of the legendary Wii U collection. May that flame always burn! I think the inclusion of the Games Workshop sets and display is inspired. The new game room is richer for that inclusion. It just makes the whole thing even more unique, personal and genuine.

Very nice! Congrats on the new home and new game room. I keep a number of my older consoles in similar plastic containers with their cables and controllers. It was fun for a while to keep everything hooked up , but as it turns out, I don’t play those systems very often at all. Much easier to store them in containers.

Very nice! GREAT idea with the console kits there, saves on so much space and just looks more organized. I used to want to have all the consoles hooked up and playable at a moments notice as well but its just way too hard to manage with dogs and kids. Fantastic idea, looks great Janne!

That's an awesome collection u have.
I really like it. It gives the impression of being bigger and brighter than the last one. (A little concerned about fading with it being brighter though) And I don't blame you for not setting up loads of retro consoles in that space, when my collection gets to your size (around 600 currently) then I'll be needing the setup space too. Great video as always! 😊
Thanks! The window was open just for filming purposes, I always have the blinds a thick curtain on to prevent any fading.

This is a spectacular collection I am amazed with how well organized this is and your SNES wall is my favorite. I love the wii u alot glad you completed the entire set. Great looking room, I love game rooms that are super compact but still organized to some degree. I think you did awesome with the space! Hopefully you don't need to add any more 3DS or Game Boy games though :P
I can still move the 3DS special editions on the end, so there's always space. But yeah, moving all the amiibo and all games above and beyond will be a brief pain. :D

Haha, true! I'd like to have everything sorted by manufacturer, but the different sizes of the libraries almost solely dictate which shelf they can go to nicely.

I did sell some of the bigger ones. Skyrim, Crysis, Halo Reach... just too huge, I can fit a ton of games for one of those. Some are in the white cabinets, so just not visible.

This was awesome! Your other game room I liked because of the sitting area with a tv. But as far as organization this one for sure. So clean. Looks great.
Also like how you've trimmed down the collection a bit to focus on major systems. But kinda sad about the complete ngage collection. Kinda curious what a complete collection would sell for....
I sold it to TV and Lust, so went to a good home! But yeah, I've trimmed the fat quite a bit, just focusing on the platforms that resonate the most.

Like the look, the way things are displayed is especially well done. Just wondering if you still have all he N64 console variants and controllers or if you got rid of those?
I've been gaming since 1977 and still own my childhood consoles in there boxes in great shape especially Nintendo consoles and games from 1985-2020 are any of these consoles and games from your collection are from your childhood.
I would love to have a game room like this. I would include Nintendo games and the specific consoles.
And all the other goodies as well
awesome room but i would suggest putting a UV coating on your windows to stop the sunlight bleaching out the colours
Oh, this is just for the video. I normally have blinds AND a sun blocking curtain on the window, so the room is pretty secure. :)

You have used very efficiently the space! What shelf brand you are using for storing games? I also still have Hero Quest board game :-)
Actually that's a bit of a pro tip: the long horizontal shelves are the vertical sections of the black shelves all the other games are in. Billy from Ikea. I just mounted the long sections on the wall, and in the process I got some extra short shelves to put onto the Billys.
I think the new game room is well organized. Though I could not see the old game room very well, due to my low vision.
Seeing the Wii made me sad. My Wii's disc player will not read any discs. I just found out yesterday. :(

Ah, luckily the Wii is pretty cheap to replace.
@@finngamer Thanks, I hope it is cheaper than the PS3 to repair. It cost me over $100. Later on the day before the PSN got hacked it YLOD on me. That day was also my birthday. If I found someone to do a good job on the Wii, I will get the Ps3 fixed.
agreed on the de-coupling of the consoles you are not playing on at the moment. Doing the same here. Why don't you put your amiibo's in a cabinet? Seems so much work to keep them dust free
Way too many amiibo to put in cabinets. Plus the door to the room is always closed, so there's very little everyday dust in the room.

Yeah, had to trim something throughout the years, sadly big boxed PC games were one of the prime suspects due to their size.
But Bioshock 2 with the vinyl record still here, of course!

I had a question, ¿Is possible to make a "extension or bigger" of the room? I don't how works the permissions required to the building, because maybe in the future you need it, that's a lot of games haha greetings from Sonora, Mexico
Actually, there is a rectangular room right behind the wall that has the two big Zelda games. It's basically a big walk in closet right now, but I think the wall could easily be toppled if I wanted to expand. :)

Just added the more common Assasin's Creed III and IV Collector's Editions to my Wii U collection for about 80€ before they're keep on going skyrocketing in price and value
For me my old and fine PC BigBox collection is still a little collector's editions for me by each of them because there were released in times when it was still common to add extra stuff to a normal retail release ;)

The containers I show at the end of the video are in the next room, sort of a walk-in closet. Easy to get a console from there to play.

Yes. I love big boxed PC games, but they just took way too much room. Had to do some prioritizing when board games and miniature boxes required more room.

Khan The Video game hunter Basically it’s under the regular home insurance, just with a raised monetary value for all items inside the house. Not that expensive to begin with, and the raising of the value just added like 5€ per month on top.

Vähän harmittaa nähdä että isompia collectors editioneja esim 360, ps3 ja ps4:lle on kadonnut
Kaapissa on kyllä noitakin, mutta on pitänyt Skyrimit ja Crysikset myydä, veivät vaan liikaa tilaa. Death Stranding taas on niitäkin isompi, se boksi vauvoineen on myös toki tallessa vaikka ei olekaan esillä. :)
finngamer ah loistava kuulla. Oon ollu tilaaja muistaakseni siitä asti kun unboxasit alan waken collectorin. Niihin aikoihin kun 360/ps3 olivat uusimmat konsolit niin ostit todella monta collectoria varsinkin 360pille ja tässä videossa en niitä nähnyt joten ehdin huolestumaan 😂 omistan myös crysiksen nano editionin sekä death strandingin collectorin ja on kyllä haasteellista saada niitä mihinkään järkevästi. Suosin pienempiä editioneja jotka mahtuvat mukavasti ikean hyllyihin. Kaikki isommat on vaa pinottu päällekkäin nurkkiin ja hyllyjen päälle 😅 pitäis suunnitella paremmin että miten saisi kaiken tilan otettua paremmin käyttöön. Loistava video jokatapauksessa 👍🏻
