I have some ungrafted macadamias growing just as a privacy screen between my place and the freeway. They are so nice and thick, evergreen, nice shade. The nuts are a bonus. Also drought resistant, wildfire resistant, gopher resistant (when mature)( I planted them in " "Root Guard" by Diggers" wire baskets), ... just an all around great tree! Southern California in San Diego county about 5 miles from the sea. These were little seedlings I dug up from under a friends tree years ago.
Accredited nurseries will always send a tree out with 1 central leader, topped to stimulante branching out, it is the farmer's responsibility to shape the tree thereafter. Thank you for the informative video.
Hi Buddy Macadamia will produce nuts from seedling tree it's just it can take up to 10 years were as a grafted tree only takes about 3 years and macadamias don't grow true to type so even though a parent tree might produce good quality high yielding nuts a seedling may not be like parent so grafting or cuttings are the best option in most cases but if you have room give a seedling a go. All the best.👍
Roughly 5-10 year's, sometimes you might get a precocious young tree that will fruit earlier but go for grafted or cutting grown tree's if you don't want to wait. You can't go wrong with a Macadamia tree, All the best.👍
giống mắc ca chuẩn đẹp đấy. tôi cũng trồng chúng 15 năm rồi, chia sẻ khá nhiều trên kênh của tôi
