Why SPAIN = EURO 2024 CHAMPIONS
Vložit

- The Spanish national team is perhaps going under the radar slightly for the Euros this year with the likes of England, France and Germany taking the headlines. However La Roja can never be counted out as they are a perennial powerhouse, boasting a legacy of triumphs and a style of play that captivates fans worldwide. Spain is the land of tiki-taka, silky midfield play, and a golden generation that dominated world football. But the golden generation era has ended, and the Spanish team now faces a stark reality: are they still that team? The talent is still there with plenty of younger talents and world class players and they even have a secret weapon this year. Can they go on to win the European Championship in 2024?

The future of spain is SCARY if they reach full potential:
-LAMINE YAMAL
-STEFAN BAJCETIC
-PAU CUBARSÍ
-PEDRI
-GAVI
-FERMÍN LOPEZ
-PABLO TORRE
-NICO WILLIAMS
-YEREMI PINO(underrated player, SO Underrated)
-DEAN HUIJSEN
-PABLO BARRIOS
-MIGUEL GUTIERREZ
-BALDE
-ALBERTO MOLEIRO
-SAMU OMORODION
And the ones that are coming soon to debut in profesional football the next few years:
-PAULO IAGO (This kid is something else, same age as yamal, and with him, they are the 2 best spanish raw talents of this gen... he is like a mini ozil, is amazing to see, only 16 years of age from real madrid academy)
-ENZO ALVES (Marcelo's son, who was born and raised all his life in spain. He is only 14 years of age, but he is a scorer machine... he debuted with spain sub-15 with only 13 years old... at the moment he choose spain, but lets see if he choose his own country, spain, or the country of his father, brazil.)
-MARC CASADO (From la masia, he have potential to be a good player if barcelona give him a chance.)
And more...
Players like Lamine and Paulo iago are gonna be only 22 years old and cubarsí 23, in the world cup 2030... thats crazy.
Spain's future is SCARY. 🔥 probably the next big generation for Spain... if they reached full potential, they could dominate the world (again).

Pedri didn't come from La Masia. But the way he plays you'd think he did.
he's from the las palmas academy right?
@@ArturoRivera2004 He is, he made his debut with them.
@@ArturoRivera2004 yes, he is from las palmas youth team, he made his debut in professional football with them with 16 years of age and played more than 30 matches in that seasson before he went to barcelona first team.
Really good seasson for a 16 years of age in a professional debut.
He made the adult players seem like kids honestly. Was a joy to watch in las palmas. So inteligent tactically with the ball.
Las palmas is a team that used to made great players from canary islands (spain) is the big team in that region of spain.
They made players like Valerón (one of the best talents of spain in history, he was the Idol of David Silva's childhood)
Now they have an economy problem since the 90's, and every time they produced a good player in their academy, the other spanish teams signed them for their youth teams...
Like for example Yeremi Pino (really underrated player of the new gen of spain), who was from las palmas academy but the villareal team signed him with 16 years of age for their academy and he dwbuted with villareal.
@@rdg9768Moleiro is the next gem from Las Palmas
Las Palmas and Barcelona are very similar in the gamestyle. That's why Pedri is a very good player for Barcelona and for Spanish Team, that plays very similar too.
People doesn't even know, but the first spanish team that played tiki taka was Las Palmas. Even Vicente del Bosque recognized that.
After watching Spain vs Croatia and the masterclass of football against Italy I think Spain has a BIG chance to win Euro 2024. I’m surprised the English media isn’t talking about it ?

damn bro , the first 2 games has been impressive ... im spanish but im aint going to lie i wasnt expecting this level ...
As a spaniard myself i see an amazing team, but so young, i hope they will do well this EuroCup, but i see a really bright future if they keep playing all together for a long while. Good luck Spain!
I guess if they make it to quarte finals or semi final, that mission is accomplished. This squad will likely repeat at World Cup and next Euro, so we can only dream of what they can achieve if they stay healthy.
El partido contra Italia fue descomunal. Jugando así ganamos a cualquiera 🔥
I used to think the same, it's a team on the making for the near future. But seeing the level they're playing at... who knows, anything may happen😊
This is aging great
If Spain wins this one being this young, the rest of the teams can get ready to be dominated in the next 10-12 years...
Exactly!
One thing that makes Spanish players different is their ability to interact constantly with each other accuratly. Although not a star filled team, they play as a team, unlike Portugal who are full of stars yet as a team they don’t perform that well. This is my opinion and I am Portuguese.
Portugal is not full of starts but overrated players
Spain has a pretty star-filled team. I would say Portugal's squad is slightly a bit better than Spain but Spain has much more potential in them. But you're right, if they're on form, I'd fancy their chances more than Portugal.
This could drastically change under Bob Martínez, he did a great job in Belgium, transforming a bunch of great players with a losing mentality in a world class squad.
Portugal could be on the verge of becoming a dominating side on Europe, but they need more team mentality.
@@sanchez_luciano I agree, but again many supposedly soccer know hows do rate Portuguese players as “stars”. I prefer a hard working not so technical player to a lazy spotlight sucker technical very good (e.g. João Felix).
@@alxm1271 Uff, knowing the Portuguese mentality I doubt it. A great Portuguese poet stated that Portuguese are perfectly happy being unhappy. Fatality is their fate (Fado)
After concluding the stage. In my opinion, SPAIN is the best team to claim EURO. I am FR and POR fan. But ESP played like beast
Who is here after Spain beating Croatia 3-0
Viva España 🇪🇦. Greetings from Spain. Adelante, y a por todas !!!
As a Spaniard I liked the video. In our country we always throw shit at our players or ourselves in everything (as good Spaniards that we are). But in my opinion, the Spanish team lacks a killer striker, if it has that it will take off to another level.
Yeah, no Spanish on top 5 goalscorers in LaLiga. Lots of playmakers but not many finishers.
lets hope morata can get his killer instincts somehow he always plays good for españa
@@yyuyu1506 Exactly, the last Spanish top scorer in La Liga was Dani Güiza, 2007-08 season, he went to Euro 2008 as a substitute, but he was in his best moment. Before we had forwards, Villa, Torres, Raúl, Fernando Llorente, Güiza, Raúl Tamudo etc. Even before the golden generation of Spanish football, this is the bad thing about the current team, without a scorer little can be done...
@@elijahgougon4301 As a fan of Atletico Madrid, Morata is not a bad player, he is a player with scoring streaks, one time he goes out and then another he fails, the easiest thing to do. Not a bad player, he plays well with his back and is good at aerial finishing, but he is not a killer striker in the area. It only remains to be seen if this Euro is on a roll.
That's what Spain has always been struggling in my opinion.
This Spain need a new David Villa

Dani olmo is one of the most consistent player in terms of performance both in spain and leipzig. He is under appreciated. Glad you mentioned him.

Winning the Euros with such a young squad would send a massive shockwave to European and World football. This squad has the potential to play in 3-4 big tournaments with minor changes... DAAAANGEROUS :)
I never expect Jesus Navas to be the sole World Cup winner remaining after 14 years
Spain definitey have the chance to win the Euros this year. I am an Atlético de Madrid fan. But I know Nico Williams & Pedri are extremely great! I’d seen them play against Atlético and I commend them both. ♥️🤙🇪🇸
VIVA ESPAÑAAAAAAAA
I just don’t think Spain are quite there defensively but the real thing they have now is real pace in their team which even the golden generation is missing
I really hope Spain can do a decent European championship. Really exited to see Yamal perform for them once again. 😍
In simple words, Great Spain rules 😎
the thing is 2008-12 generation knew each other so well, they either were teammates at Barça and Madrid or had played together for Spain many years.
The current generation are young and pretty new to each other with very few teammates. So this generation really requires more work from the national manager to develop a cohesive style
Good luck to Spain I hope they win
They will
Thanks from Spain!
Yeah, I agree Spain can win this 2024, I was thinking Germany, or France, but Spain has been consistent, and are much more fluid in their gameplay.

Yes, 2008-2012, best team in history of football
I honestly think Spain is winning this one, something tells me they’ll be the ones this year.
Sadly people judge the countries by the performance of their players in their clubs, that’s why England is the top favorite for many, because they have Harry Kane, Bellingham, Palmer, etc., but having a good season with your club does not mean you’ll do well with your country.
They won't
Aaah mate, come on. The only team they will beat in the group stage is Albania and that won’t be enough.

It's just a pity that Gavi and Balde are injured, and that Brahim chosed Morocco.
However yamal-nico can be a powerhouse of attack, Joselu is super effective for the last minutes while Morata is a hard worker 9.
Probably Rodri-fabian-pedri in the midfield, yamal-morata-williams forward, and grimaldo, vivian, le normand & carvajal, defending, given that Cubarsi will play olympic games instead of euro.
Brahim could have been a good addition to the team

Nacho is underrated, he played some clutch games for Madrid in the ucl

The golden generation was all spanish, 100% which makes it even better. All the spanish team members were pure spanish. Many teams get their strength in integrating south American talents or african, which is really smart and convinient, but that particular Spanish team came to the throne with all the mentality, skill set and virtuosity from their country.
You are forgetting that Marcos Senna that was very important for Spain in the 2008 Eurocup was Brazilian. It is good to be proud of the spanish born players but Marcos Senna was also part of that Golden Generation even if he didn't play the worldcup and the 2012 Eurocup.

Every la masia attacker for the last 10 years gets called the "next messi", but they all end up in a mid table team in Spain or England sadly, due to the inmense pressure they put on them
By every you mean Ansu Fati and Lamine Yamal. That's pretty much it.
@Nifava Because those are the ones from recent years and are thus easier to remember, but Ansu Fati has already lost that reputation with his move to a mid table team in England, Brighton, where he was a bench warmer, and is now coming back to Barcelona to probably be on the bench too.
Many already forgot about Balde, the "next [insert la masia legend in that position]", and many such cases in the last decade. You can just look it up in Spanish newspapers like Mundo Deportivo with great biases towards Barcelona due to it being a catalan based newspaper.
And the same will happen to Lamine sadly, he's a great player, but Barcelona manages their youngsters horribly, and they get burnt out before even getting a chance at having a career.
@@iminspain258 Ansu Fati had many problems with injuries.
@@pereximepere8439 Because of the immense pressure Barca put on him, same with Gavi and Pedri
Spain has a good group with very talented young players, the problem there is the poor coach they have… with a proper coach they could be a scary team
I'm from Spain and I don't think so. Coach is soo good but our problem is Spain team have a poor experience in important competitions, because they are too young.
France for example has players like Mbappe or Real Madrid players that are played important tournaments lika a quarter finals of champions league
There’s no way Spain is winning lol so many better teams than them now and for the next 10 years at least
I would love for them to win, but they go out in the first round. The coach does not differentiate the ass from the elbow, and will end up putting on the field what the Madrid press asks for.
with Pau Cubarsi in 1 year, Gavi, and Balde spain will be scary
Shocked Cubarsi wasn’t selected 😨
@@TheFootball-Library Spain doesn't want Cubarsi to get injured
@@TheFootball-Library Here in Spain they assure that it is because they do not want the same thing to happen to Pedri playing the Euro Cup and the Olympic Games. For caution
To that players, you need to add:
-Stefan Bajcetic from liverpool.
-Yeremi Pino (he was injured this seasson, but he is SO UNDERRATED Player, he have nothing to be jealous of nico williams, good future if he recovers well from injury)
-Pablo Torre, he is really good but need a good loan from barcelona to a team where he can be the main player.
-Miguel Gutierrez, Left Back from girona this seasson.
-Paulo iago, probably next to yamal as the best spanish talent and potential. 16 years old in real madrid academy, look for videos of him... he is SO GOOD.
-Alberto Moleiro, he is really good but i think he is gonna need a few more years to develop full potential, he is kind of irregular, one good match and 2 not that well. Lets see what future brings to him.
-Enzo Alves, he maybe is too young for mention, 14 years old, but he is in real madrid academy (marcelo's son) and he is a monster striker, scorer machine. Lest see what he can becoma in future. He debuted with 13 years of age with spain sub-15.

Most of these "great players" were already in our team in the last World Cup, and they did quite poorly. I don't consider 500 lateral passes to be remarkably good footbal, and I don't think we have any real top quality finishers. Quality finishers make all the difference in these kinds of competitons because national teams are a hodge podge team of players with no chemistry and the real difference maker is usually individual quality, which we don't have. Holding onto the ball for 70% of the time means nothing if you can't score and you're weak in transition.

There are a few things are not correct.
Even that in agree that one of the weakest lines is the defense, you should mention specifically the central defenders. Nacho has a lot of experience and always played good, but the companion (Laporte or Le Normand) are not top.
You only mentioned Grimaldo as a strong defender, but missed that Carvajal has been the best in his position this season. Both are strong assets.
The midfield is weak. Only Rodri is a top player. And Dani Olmo is way overrated. He has flashes but not consistent and not efficient.
And Morata… won’t say anything

Lamine yamal is way too young and fails at puttting the ball into the web. Our defenders are VERY bad. Of course we could win the tournament. But the chances are veeeeeeeeeeery slim. Like dormundt winning the champions. The moment we face big boy on a good day, we are out.
I mean i would like them to win. But for me following football since Italia 1990 WC this is most likely Spains weakest team on paper they have had in over 3 decades.
Scotland > Spain.
Spain were lucky against Scotland 👍🏻
Spain has good goalkeeper but not excelent.
The defense a combination of Basque ( Europe League level) and real Madrid (the BEST ones). Grimaldo is the surprise because of the great season at Bayer leverkusen.
The midfielder combinates Rodri(the best player of Spain) and Young talents. The do not arrive to the golden generation.
The attack. The wings are the ones that has improved combinates Young talents with players that had good season.
Are the strickers the great problem. Morata has done a "normal" season but not wonderfull season. Joselu is the second stricker of Real Madrid and thats all.
So, the strickers are the Big problem of Spain.
England has Bellingham and Kane that are awsome. Maybe the best strickers of the Eurocup.
France, depends 100% in Mbappe, in order to work its Game.

I've been watching and playing football my whole life too by the way, you and I are not special. Your opinion is as good as anyone else's.
Good Joke bro, that Spanish team was invencible
I'm 40 years old and I've watched and played soccer all my life. I highly doubt that any of those teams were better than Spain from 2008 to 2012/13. Spain's tactical sense and teamwork was far superior. The only one of those teams that could have stood up would be France '98, especially because of that ultra-competitive animal called Zidane.
The problem with grimaldo is that he is way too attacing for a 2 in the back system cuz leverkusen played 3 in the back
