Corsa's systems get rid of a lot of it. If you want to get rid of almost all of it, get long tubes. Due to the high-rpm nature of these motors, combined with the flathead firing order in the Mustang Coyotes, they're always going to have some rasp and are never going to sound like an old muscle car or a 4.6 if that's the sound you're looking for.
@commie5.0 No it isn't. All an x-pipe does is raise the pitch slightly. Coyotes with an h-pipe just sound slightly deeper. Rev them up, and the rasp is still very much there. I already stated why they're raspy. What you've said is simply nonsense.
Something went wrong installing the Borla Exhaust. I have never in my life heard Borla Exhaust sound like shit. The deep tune wasn't there and it sounded like the Cats were still stock with a cherry bomb. Was way to much like a 4 banger. But it also could have switched the cars also. Cause the Flowmasters also sounds like what ever Borla Exhaust sound has ever been set up on the Coyotes. Think the White 1 had the Flowmasters not the Black 1. How bad i never heard Borla sound.
I own a 2015 5.0. I must say borla had never sounded good to me. But the mbrp race mufflers with a H pipe is the best sound u can get out of these 2015 and up. Imo.

I like the rasp from the Borla. Besides, mustangs got the DOHC so they sound way better at higher rpm and don't have that low end deep tone as much as the Hemi will. They are always going to sound more raspy regardless which is great. Nothing sounds as good as the mustang anymore except for the new Z06 but that is a flat plane and sound like an F1 car.
I love flowmasters tone. It sounds more sophisticated to me. But if it were to be a straight up race car then it's straight pipe all the way. I don't care for the borla.
He should’ve threw an h pipe on with the flowmaster. Flowmaster intent already is to give a deeper exhaust note so when you match it with an x pipe it sounds like straight shit! I hope whoever car that was sees this. FLOWMASTER WITH X PIPE SOUNDS LIKE SHIT!!!

I used to be a staunch Borla-phile, but I think they sound best on pre-2000s sheetmetal. Those Flowmasters have got it this time...!

Some reason I think the 2013-2014 coyotes sound better than the others. Just my opinion
