I wish there was a toggle to make deaths in the Sims easier to get. I like more chaos in my game and wish I had the option to have it more chaotic.
Yeah I was going to say the same. I wish there was a setting for how hard it is to die from various deaths. The chaos is what I like most in the game. Plus there's so many warnings about it.. I'd toggle those off too. I want random bad things to happen throughout the game.. that's what makes it fun. Like the burglars from the older games. It's like how Kayla kept the fire toilet around just so there'd be random fires happening to spice things up. It's annoying on Sims 4 how *you* have to create all the drama and chaos. I know some people like that but I'd say a majority of people don't. We want the sandbox but also random chaos and story happening.
If you don’t have parenthood, I’d suggest getting that, so many of my teen sims get into a “mood” then die of anger😭

to be fair, she is only playing with base game + the new expansion pack. there will probably be some more random gameplay breaking things if someone has other packs, only time will tell

I'm pretty excited ngl, I'm pretty sure this is one of the only packs I've pre-order out of excitement.
Does anyone else think there needs to be a 'Romantic Boundaries' category that reflects inwards as well? As is, the new system basically gives a sim standards that they hold their partners to, BUT this does not affect the Sim's own behavior, inclinations, or personal convictions. For example, I have a Sim with the 'Loyal' trait, but if they feel flirty and already have a partner, they still have the same chance of flirting with other Sims in group conversations as anyone else, if you let them behave autonomously. In short, you can make a Sim be as jealous or not jealous as you want, but they will be as faithful as Don Lothario. I'd also like it if traits such as 'Loyal', 'Non-Committal', 'Jealous', etc. have a greater impact in the "Lovestruck" DLC.

I wonder if you need less romantic-specific sadness if youre already sad, like if you tried dating after someone died. Like, does all sadness stack or does it have to be specific directed sadness to meet the broken heart death threshold.

I wonder if the death from a broken heart works if a sim loses a spouse/partner or maybe even a close loved one like a child? That would make gameplay way more interesting. I wonder if a modder can look into making this for the new death-type

I've noticed a lot of deaths are a lot harder to get. Like crushed by a Murphy bed. Or shaking a vending machine you have to fail 3 times in row building the moodlet up till the final

I was worried that the death might really ruin gameplay. I still don’t particularly like the death, but hopefully sims at least won’t be autonomously dropping dead at clubs and things.

Since the update my whole game is broken 😭The three dots do not work when click, build mode is broken, relationship panel is broken, inventory is broken, skill UI is broken, work UI is broken, etc. No mods, no cc. Repaired the game. Nothing. No lovestruck for me 😭
the UI broke for me too! repairing the game did help for me tho so I'm not sure how else to fix this... also lots of lag :(

My little sister was playing earlier and her sims are constantly insulting eachother so she has to micromanage every interaction- Kayla seems to not be having that problem though so I can’t help but wonder if it’s because my sister doesn’t have the packs that improve family relationships like growing together or parenthood or whatever…
@@illyachan5901 i think kayla’s game is okay because it’s not the same version of the sims 4 that we have. she is almost playing a different game. my game is completely broken and unplayable. i hope they fix it soon.

Has this happened to anyone else? On one of my saves I have a couple and a toddler; I had my main Sim ask their partner about their 'Romantic Boundaries' (by default, it seems every sim is jealous of any kind of romantic interaction and is open to talking about them). Anyways, even though they are soulmates with max friendship and romance, the one being asked was offended and the romance was fairly negatively impacted. Also, since I asked about their boundaries, they now get offended every time my main Sim shows any kind of affection to their child! While no negative sentiments or moodlets appear, the friendship bar is barely affected, but I lost almost 1/8th of the romance bar just from having my main sim put the toddler in a highchair and feed them!

If you make your sim an overachiever, unflirty and romantically reserved and then fail lots of social interactions and get a discovery trait of socially awkward, then this might be a lot more probable. If your aspiration gave you the mean boost trait dastardly and then you also got the discovery traits mean and evil, you will do autonomous mean interactions. Accidentally trying to date incompatible sims would make this possible too.
