Extremely helpful!! I've literally only done about 4 runs in countdown, and only 2 of them was with a friend who guided me threw it. But still so much i didn't realise. Was abit nervous at playing it because my enxiaty, but I'm starting to get over this, been playing alot more with friends, especially on Destiny 2, and played with Eaglestar alot threw his 24 hour stream that was for charity, also played with Sentinel and he's a really nice guy. I know i mention this because someone gifted me membership then it was gone in a couple of weeks. I have absolutely no issue with that because I'm not in your lives alot recently so why spend money on someone who isn't supporting you as much as other's. But it's not personal bro, I'm just watching other lives which often are the same time as yours. You'll always hold a place in my heart bro, even if I'm not around to show this. 🙏
@GCROCK You should remember to mention or also create a video to people who dont have mic, how to turn on ingame chat from the settings. This is very helpfull especially on console when doing countdowns because some people game just dont want to be cooperative with ingame voice chat even ur mic works nice in consoles own party.
@digitaldogs233 CZcams membership last 1 month so it cant be gone "after 2 weeks"🙄 And IF you did not know CZcams gives memberships completely random when u Donate them, unlike twitch where u can actually choose who you give them.

I just started playing this game, literally a few days ago. Just reached lv 29. Also, I completed my first run on killing "Nemesis" (took me a few tries). Been enjoying the game. Builds are confusing and feel there's a lot of info there. But been enjoying so far...

The build i like to use for countdown is a 4x Hunter's Fury, Badger tuff vest with Intimidate and the memento backpack and my primary weapon is the Scorpio. For the countermeasures part i like to run up to the Hunter's and shoot them with my Scorpio and get all the status effects on them while the rest of the team does the damage. The skills I use are the striker shield and reviver hive so I can get myself and tram up.
This is helpful for me because not played much countdown at all.

Countdown is the best! In my first 6 runs ever I got a ninja bag , momento, and Elmo’s .

Imo, based on my experiences Challenging is more worth it in general. The “heroic” gear I’ve come across hasn’t been better enough to justify swapping. Maybe it’s just the RNG I’ve had, but challenging is faster and Tbh I’m more focused on XP to finish my watch and I level up faster on Challenging. Heroic isn’t much harder, but it adds extra time and that adds up. Really it just feels like more enemy damage and armor for barely much more of anything lol Challenging is just more efficient imo. Im also running a hybrid Haeartbreaker/Hard Wired/In-Sync build so everything I do makes everything do more damage plus the buffs. It’s not the most crazy build, but it’s fun for me and I can plow through most content.
I appreciate the guide since I have never tried because I dont have the minimum gear to even try it. Nor do I know where to go, what to do, etc etc. So, thanks a bunch!!

I love countdown, and normally run the strikers with either the ninja or momento. with either the elmo or scorpio. Challenging is the better difficulty as you'll be matched straight away where as hard you can be waiting a while to matchmake. I've also had the Cartharsis drop in there a couple of times as well
I run coyote mask for crit with overlord amenities vest for obliterate and assault rifle damage then the rest is striker gear for stacking damage my primary is st Elmo’s for shock effect and high mag cap and the secondary is lefty the 12gauge steak out shot gun named version the sidearm can be anything I run all reds for high dps but 2 core blues give you that survivability if you need it
Let me chime in as someone who is a new player. My watch is at 84. The game is been sitting on my hard drive for quite some time anyway, I’m really enjoying it and this is a fantastic look at what the countdown is. I’m going to try a few runs by myself just to get the hang of it, but at least when I go in for the first time with the group I’m not gonna look like a dumb ass. Well, I still may look like one but at least I’ll know that I am because you told me the right way to do it. Great video. Thanks.

best advise i can give from someone who has played heaps of countdown, focus the hunters at the end, once they are down, its much easier. I rush the hunters with the shocker punch if they are close, then we can all gun them down.
Hopefully will see this video lots of people bc sometimes I just leav countdown bc everyone run where they want and donth stay with team 😢😅
Yep because most don't use mic, if you're playing as a team but don't communicate your not a team, your just running randomly with people. Use a mic, that's the point of playing with group's imo.
@digitaldogs233 Hold ur comment horses. Some people ingame voice chat dont even work. i have Searched this topic on internet and i have seen many forum topics where some have mentioned that there is nothing wrong on their mic but game itself just dont register ur voice and u cant do anything about it. This is mostly Console problem tho. But there is that ingame text chat what many dont even might know exist. I use that usually to tell people where to go & i also use waypoint.

Yep common sense that people run in their own direction. And the marker thing, one match there was 2, so the group split. I did countdown last night and i took the lead, even though I've only done it 3 times, was a smooth run and a couple chose to switch there's on and we had a laugh while doing it. It's not so much for me the communication of everyone going to same area it just alleviates my enxiaty abit. Every game i play i use a mic, and 9 out of ten times someone else will to, then we chat about crap. You do you ill do me with my mic. Kinda why i even got a headset for.
I find the cooling tower and the lab difficult to find the loot boxes sometimes. I know where they are but can't always remember so I'm just running around looking for them.
@Born2Elite game tells u where those are what u can open actually, its have orange waypoint showing that to you.
@@OccasusRaven I don't mean the crate that opens when extraction timer starts. I mean the crate that has three spawns for the cooling tower and the lab as they're big areas.
How to unlock countdown? I see it on map but i can't access it
I think Countdown is bugged for me. Either that or I'm missing something. I complete tasks for the objective, but the activity doesn't update to the next task. Hack the 2 computers, destroy the 2 servers, then just endless waves of enemies.
Also i found out something that people should know about this "bug". Its very possible because of it not effecting some regions it has nothing to do with the actual game itself, its server issues. Been looking into this and reading alot of interesting stuff from game devs on reddit, indie game devs. They are to stating if its a regional issue its not the actual game, its the servers they use. Unfortunately people dont bother too research such things, its easier just to blame the devs. This is why especially on CoD vpn is used alot, because some servers based on region are better than other's. Now im not completely finnished my little exploration into this, but at moment this is my conclusion. Dont hate the game devs, hate the servers they use.

So doing challeging difficulty still gives you the heroic level gear?
Yes, even the lower levels. I think there might be some purple drops on lower but the high end will be heroic quality
And always always call in extraction chopper as soon as you can 😂😂😂
