Like it was said before in the comments here Toji Tamaki was the singer and composer of this song but it talks about Yoshiro Yamaguchi, she's a woman who left Japan during WW2 to live in China she was known as the Judy Garland of China and Japan. She changed her name in China and learn Mandarin people in China loved her. She was a good singer but no one knew of her Japanese origins. After the war her identity was revealed and the people who loved wanted her gone. She was deported back to Japan never to see China again.

Like it was said before in the comments here Toji Tamaki was the singer and composer of this song but it talks about Yoshiro Yamaguchi, she's a woman who left Japan during WW2 to live in China she was known as the Judy Garland of China and Japan. She changed her name in China and learn Mandarin people in China loved her. She was a good singer but no one knew of her Japanese origins.
After the war her identity was revealed and the people who loved wanted her gone. She was deported back to Japan never to see China again.
