I was a 4th generation sda on my mothers side, I was very involved in church, I loved EGW, BUT God in His love and mercy removed me out of the SDA church, it’s been almost 2 years since I left, and I couldn’t be happier. Right before I left, I was broken and felt like God hated me cause I struggled to keep the Sabbath, and I struggled with my diet, I felt guilty for putting black pepper in my food, and eating chocolate 😢, True story, it may sound funny but it’s was horrible, because I was trying to follow the counsel of the false prophet. One day in my despair, the Holy Spirit took control of my mind and introduced me to the Gospel and I accepted and experienced regeneration, and I never looked back. God saved me, I am so glad I left. But I left with a lot of tears, I lost friends, and some of my family members shunned me, but nevertheless I belong to Jesus and that is all that matters. All the pain and tears was definitely worth it all. I AM FREE, FREE IN JESUS!!!

I was a seventh day adventist before I came across myles channel. I was even rude to him because I had my defenses up. I am so grateful that myles is doing what he is doing and shown me the truth about this cult. 34 years I've been in this and was very unhappy. I hated Ellen white but it was forced on me and it eventually caused me not to read the Bible. But these past few weeks since myles channel was up I've been reading the bible and enjoying it. I can't believe I've been taking in 10+ hours of this content and agreeing with it (on the Sabbath lol) and am no longer seventh day adventist. Thanks again Myles. Keep up the good work. I was never SDA but I've attended a friend's SDA church a few times when I was younger and I also read some of their material. I always knew Ellen was a false teacher. So sorry for all who are in this denomination but don't know what it teaches and even more so for those who know and intentionally lie and deceive people. Open their eyes, Lord, because you are not willing that any should perish.

Wow! This is such great information. I never thought Ellen White was a prophet, but I didn't realize just how heretical her teachings were. I also don't agree with teachings from the Roman Catholic Church (i.e. penance, the veneration of Mary and the Saints, the Pope as the vicar of Christ, and a priest having the ability to forgive sins.) This is unbiblical. I've learned years ago, to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ. I'm non-denominational. These "Christian denominations" must be scrutinized. We have to be like the Bereans and study what the Bible says for ourselves. If any man/woman today claims to have heard directly from Christ or claims to be a representative of Christ on earth, then he/she is trying to take the place of Christ. - All we as Christians have to do is read our Bible and follow it. 2 Timothy 3:16. "All Scripture is God-breathed, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." - Then the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to teach us. John 14:26 "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."
Keep digging into the truth and you will see that your objections to Catholicism are unfounded. For instance, we do not believe priests forgive sins. We believe that only God forgives sins and he uses his ordained ministers as visible signs of that grace. Look at the practice of the early Christians (the ones who gave us the Bible) and you will see that they did not think that all they had to do was read the Bible

One message for the outsiders (i.e. Amazing Facts), another for initiates/neophytes, another for the acolyte, and the full "truth" for the highest level adepts. How many SDA congregations are maintained at neophyte level of knowledge to maintain the upper management financially?
I went to a SDA university and I remember most of this doctrines where repeatedly taught to us. I was so confused in my walk with Christ and questioned my salvation many times. I’m grateful to God for fully opening my eyes to his full redemption and love after I left uni and I have never fully thought about how contradictory EGW’s books are to the bible. I was always told that the wicked were killed by the brightness of Christ's coming. Of course, I was also told that the saints coming with Jesus were angels when I asked these things as a child.
I went to a SDA school. I never understood how being vegetarian was biblical but they ate eggs. I was young and impressionable but I was always in trouble for asking questions. I found the truth but their teachings screwed me up for quite a few years.

Hey Sam, I listen to your two sessions on Adventist of Ellen G white I read a while back, that this cult has adopted dualism from Persia, which is similar to Manichaeism, especially with the aspect of Jesus and the devil the role they are playing definitely it’s a very confused cult far worse than Islam too many twists and turns and it just boggles my mind. I grew up in this. The funny thing is I don't remember being taught too much about ms white. The only thing I remember is when she was taken up to heaven and saw the Ten Commandments and the fourth one was glowing, otherwise, I only remember them talking about how bad Catholics are and how they will come to kill us all. Every year we had a huge presentation at the Church where they showed big colored pictures of Revelation. The beast, the whore riding the beast, etc. Now I am Catholic. So I can say the Seventh-Day Adventist made me Catholic. What do you think, Is my baptism valid or not? I believe it's a cult as well but there is some argument as to whether or not my baptism is valid.
The real teaching of Christianity is dependent upon one central fact: there is a Savior to rescue man from his sins and the consequences of those sins. That Savior is Jesus Christ. It was He who paid the penalty for all mankind’s transgressions. And through His abundant grace, Christ now gives us freely a salvation unobtainable of ourselves. It is not based on Law, or the keeping of the Ten Commandments.
This is the reason why you have to repent every single day. I was taught that when I went to bed I had to ask for forgiveness for everything I could think of and then say I am sorry for any sins I can't remember but sure I have done. You had to walk a fine line. You could have been a perfect Christian your whole life but if you tripped and fell and said I bad word right before you died you would go straight to hell, for one bad word. I gave up trying to please them because I was going to hell for everything I ever did wrong.
I was an Adventist and I onow from experience that several Adventists are True Christian. I was Born Again and came to Christ as an Adventist and stayed in thar Church for three years.
Also what about the blood spilled out on earth during the crucifixion of Jesus? What happens to that blood if Jesus is Supposedly handing The Father the blood as atonement for sin? Wouldn't the blood spilled on the earth...from the blood water when Jesus was Pierced Stabbed w the spear to the heart ...water and blood spilled forth .....obviously had to go somewhere!!! Wow I had no idea how demonic these SDA teachings were! I was in this non-denominational house church where the pastors were "ex adventists" who occasionally preached at other churches. Some baptist and some adventist etc. I always clashed with them over certain interpretations of scripture. It didn't make sense to me for a long time. Now it does. Much prayer has led me here and I see the truth about it all. They even handed me that stupid book called the great controversy. I found out they were lying about what they believed the entire time. Merely hiding it. They have secret chambers where they actually say what they believe, then they have the outer chambers where they lie and play stupid. They also counseled people to get that wretched vaccine. This stream is putting the pieces together.

Their pastors teach her from the pulpit and her writings are often put up on the slides at church, together with Bible verses. So they might not actually read her writings, but they are definitely being taught her doctrines from the pulpit.

With regard to the question of what happens to the unrighteousness who are left behind when the righteous are taken up - this is what I, (A former SDA) was taught at church : The unbeliever /unrighteous will be struck down by the glory of the Lord at His coming. The earth will be proliferated with dead bodies and Satan will be here with no one to tempt for 1000 years.

Have you joined formely? If yes, you shouldn't have such questions. If not, look for a Catholic church near you and talk to the priest.

Most SDAs I know don’t see Ellen G White as a true prophet.
