- It's Official, WERE MOVING!!! Restoring my dream car, my R32 Nissan Skyline GTR.
Thank you to Darnell's Auto Body in Tacoma, WA for letting me come work on my GTR at the shop and be part of the restoration process. Feeling inspired by Garage Yoshida and Built by Legends to restore my GTR the best I can. We sold our house in Seattle and why were moving to Arizona.

We moved from Renton to Hayden, ID in June 2022 after enduring two full years of hell on earth from the liberal policies that enabled drug addicts to murder the guy across the street from us (Dave), seize his house for themselves and set up a meth lab in the garage, attack the postal workers, shoot it out with other porch pirates, shoot it out the police, SWAT and the King Co Sheriffs. The straw that broke the camels back for me was the SWAT sniper in our front yard and our 3 month old baby gagging from the tear gas lingering in the air that SWAT had to deploy in order to go in and get ONE of the bad guys across the street...there were over 20 of them in there. Ironically as bad as it sounds, and it truly was, that was only the tip of the iceberg for all the crap we had to live through! And after all that, I was the one who was charged with brandishing ON MY OWN PROPERTY because I refused to go outside at night without my rifle! So it wasn't just the gloomy weather that had us locked inside our house or the impetus for moving out of state! Was it really just the weather that made you make that move?
And I digress... I wondered if you have ever installed a Greddy oil cooler and element relocation kit on your GTR? Two years ago I ordered one from Nengun and just a couple weeks ago opened the box only to find out one of the hoses (130mm) was missing. A Napa down the street can make me another one so not too big of an issue for us, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install the thing! As part of the installation we have to relocate the boost solenoid (PCM valve) but there is no mention of it in the instructions (which are printed in Japanese). I am a lot further behind the technical curve than you which leaves me at a huge handicap to work on such technical vehicles like these R32 GTR's.
Can't wait to see you in your GTR again! Oh by the way, you'll want to get that AC kit from Blackhawk Japan as soon as you get your car back. AZ gets HOOOOOOOOT!
