- Over the last year The Steaming Boots Team has been capturing footage on their adventures in the Scottish Mountains. The majority of the landscapes have been captured from the summits of some of Scotland’s most stunning areas and in all conditions. In the process the team have enjoyed some amazing times as well as enduring the limitations of filming (i.e. extra kit to carry, loitering in blizzards and small issues such as keeping batteries warm !). I never realized Scotland had mountains. I live in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State USA, which are also beautiful and very heavy forested. The Adirondack park is the largest state park in the USA.

Thank you for taking all the hours of preparation needed to produce this five minute wonder. In years to come they may not understand how difficult it is to get this kind of footage from a humble drone. I'm sure they will fly them from the carpark and climb to these kind of places with no effort or skill needed, but maybe this film will go down in history as the first perfect fly over the highlands.
