I wanted to go to cosmetology school since I graduated high school this year and I have always been a art kid I love color and texture but lowkey I'm very scared because I deal with anxiety and I don't work great under pressure
Same for me sadly. I have probably the worst case of social anxiety I can't even talk to most of family without wanting to run away and I tend to just break down and start crying when under pressure
Im scared to go to school too. I cried alot in hight school so im afraid if i go to cosmetology school i will cry there to

i’m a junior in high school and my school counselor is totally against me going into cosmetology bc i’ve taken so many hard classes but that doesn’t mean this isn’t hard :( it seems like so much fun and i think this is what i want to do plus my mom is a hairdresser :)

do what makes you happy. You can always study for a professional carrer online. Don't stop yourself. God bless you.
Omg do what you want! I felt that pressure. I took so many college classes and got a bunch of scholarships. I am dropping out next semester because I wanted to do cosmetology but I felt pressured to go to college! Do what you want or you’ll be miserable :(

I’m 13 and I really want to be a cosmetologist because I love playing and working with hair and just seeing how it turns out and I love the feeling when u did a amazing job, my friends let me dye their hair sometimes and my mom lets me dye and bleach hers!! I really hope I will make it someday, i look up to u so much!!💕

how do you balance full time cosmetology school with other personal things? i want to go to cosmetology school and am trying to figure out a balance between the full time school hours, work and personal relationships. Any advice on this would be much appreciated!
skyler jordan love this question! I’m actually going to be doing a 1 month update video on cosmetology school and was going to talk more about this! But overall it is very hard but you just have to make the time. I go tuesday-saturday 9-4:30 and don’t get home until 5 but usually ill try to make time at night for personal relationships with my friends and boyfriend and then I only work a double shift on Sunday. And mondays are my day off. So honestly just make sure to give yourself that one day off to focus on yourself!
be careful with zaful and shien! they are both fast fashion and not good options. if you would like to shop online i would suggest buying from depop or from a physical stores website :)
is there anywhere cheap? i use shein but i don’t want to bc it’s fast fashion but it’s all i can afford atm as i’m 16 so don’t have much and don’t like my mum paying for my clothes so i buy it all myself?

Hi if you don’t mind me asking how’s it going i really wanna do cosmo. I’ve always enjoyed dying hair and making people feel beautiful about themselves. I’ve talked to my mom and she’s in full support of what I do, but is it a good career ?
Becca ? I love it! I definitely suggest assisting either while still in school, or right after you graduate for at least a year. It can be pretty slow in the beginning so you have to be patient with it for sure. There are some bad days of course, like with any job. Overall I highly recommend it though, especially if you love being creative!

what if you wanted to be a hair dresser but also do mircroblading and eyelash etxtensions etc? would i have to go to cosmetology school and esthetican school or could i go to cosmeltology school and get my lash tech license online?
You would have to go to both schools! Cosmetology is just hair, nails, and makeup and sometimes waxing but esthetican is eyelashes, eyebrows, etc.
I’m so nervous about doing school and it ending up not being what I want to do with my life 😖

9 months!
I did Diploma basic course in Hair And Beauty from INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF HAIR , BEAUTY & COSMETOLOGY from SCHNELL HANS ,MUMBAI ,INDIA,11 yrs ago but due to some reasons I couldn't practice as a professional but They taught us on Human beings like live models and there was no mistake at all coz we had staff per candidate...which really boosted our confidence so soon .

You can’t become a licensed hairstylist any other way! So you have to go to cosmetology school. It wasn’t a waste of time, I learned so much there it’s amazing
