I may start some of them but as most of my starts and projects are large, I don’t like to commit to something I cannot see through. Oh my goodness your daily thread stitch is looking amazing 🤩 The Caterpillar cross stitch is so pretty, their patterns are usually and such beautiful colours. Sarah & I have done some of them . My pleasure Karen. Yes, it’s possible for more to join Stitch Across the Pond. Join the FB group and then watch for the post notifying the next zoom. The zoom is usually second Saturday of the month and the notification post will come out about a week in advance. Then you use the link to ‘buy’ your ticket to the zoom. There is no charge and you don’t have to give any card details but you do need to ‘purchase’ the ticket through the link in the post which is sometimes Angi’s shop, sometimes Marie’s. I think spaces on the zoom are limited so it’s a case of first come first served. I think to date they’ve had enough space for everyone who signs up. It’s a lot of fun. I hope you’ll join us.

I have been working caregiving 12 days for 12 hour shifts over Christmas/New Years to cover another caregiver on vacation. I just came home and basically went to bed! Today, January 4th. I counted my kitted projects. Guess what the number was? Fifty 5-0! I said to myself, thats a sign. So when I've recovered and gotten my house and vehicle in order, I will join in❤

Oh rebellious brain! 😉 just go with what calls to you and keep the joy in your stitching journey. I’m a planner by nature so it works for me to make a list and, mostly, stick to it. But, you’ll have noticed there are times when I veer off and follow my heart or a squirrel or two. It’s our hobby so do what works for you. Have fun with whatever your rebellious brain decides in 2024😉

Hi! I am for sure joining you on a full coverage but I might change the pattern. My friends all looked at me and said that’s really not a Joanne type chart. I found one that fits me perfect and is 400 x 400 stitches but has 250 colors. Seems a little over the top but it will be fun. Have a Merry Christmas and hope lots of healing for all of you.
Oh absolutely change the pattern if it’s not really you. No point stitching something so mammoth if there’s a pattern you prefer. The number of colours is crazy but then …. Whatever you decide, I hope it is fun Joanne.

Hi Vickie. For my daily thread I load the needle once, whether that’s with one strand or two depending on what I’m stitching. Typically my thread length is about 18” or whatever way it comes if the threads are precut.

I retire on February 29th , and my goal for next year is to start a kit every month of the year , now I finally will have lots of stitching time!

I have been working caregiving 12 days for 12 hour shifts over Christmas/New Years to cover another caregiver on vacation. I just came home and basically went to bed! Today, January 4th. I counted my kitted projects. Guess what the number was? Fifty 5-0! I said to myself, thats a sign. So when I've recovered and gotten my house and vehicle in order, I will join in❤

I am so happy that I found your channel this year, and I'm really looking forward to watching your progress with your 50 starts. I will just be happy to finish the wip I have had going for over a year now! Fingers crossed that happens in 2024. I have been thinking about what I would like to achieve in 2024, but I haven't actually made any "firm" plans because when I write a plan, my brain goes, "Nope! That's just not happening" 😂😂
Oh rebellious brain! 😉 just go with what calls to you and keep the joy in your stitching journey. I’m a planner by nature so it works for me to make a list and, mostly, stick to it. But, you’ll have noticed there are times when I veer off and follow my heart or a squirrel or two. It’s our hobby so do what works for you. Have fun with whatever your rebellious brain decides in 2024😉

Hi! I am for sure joining you on a full coverage but I might change the pattern. My friends all looked at me and said that’s really not a Joanne type chart. I found one that fits me perfect and is 400 x 400 stitches but has 250 colors. Seems a little over the top but it will be fun. Have a Merry Christmas and hope lots of healing for all of you.
Oh absolutely change the pattern if it’s not really you. No point stitching something so mammoth if there’s a pattern you prefer. The number of colours is crazy but then …. Whatever you decide, I hope it is fun Joanne.

Hi Vickie. For my daily thread I load the needle once, whether that’s with one strand or two depending on what I’m stitching. Typically my thread length is about 18” or whatever way it comes if the threads are precut.
