2024 LEBANON SUNDAY BRUNCH TRAIN AT THE SANTIAM EXCURSION TRAIN IN OREGON (PACIFIC NORTHWEST)

Welcome to Exploring with Cindy and Dan. Today we are in city of Lebanon in the state of Oregon and we will be riding on the beautiful Santiam Excursion Train: the Sunday Bruch train.
It is a beautiful June day in Willamette Valley in Oregon and we are in our ultimate adventure on a train excursion in the city of Lebanon. This is an exciting ride and brunch is included with our ticket. Our train will depart Lebanon at around 10am and will travel to Sweet home , stays a couple of minutes there and then we’ll be coming back at around 12:30pm.
The Santiam Train Station is located 35 miles south of Salem, the capital of Oregon, or 89 miles south of Portland. There is a small parking area across from the train station building but there are plenty parking on the streets. They suggest to be at the train station 30 minutes before your train excursion and that is usually what we do when we do a train excursion. This will be our 3rd train excursion at the santiam train station in the past year and we are hoping to do the Santa Maria Steam engine train ride next and the Candy Cane Train Ride this December.
The Santiam Excursion trains provides a unique and wonderful experience for the whole family here in Lebanon. They are very affordable and they have train rides, train excursions, dinner trains, holiday trains rides and train rental packages during the year.
They offer a wide range of train ride experiences throughout the year and some of these rides are offered on a regular basis such as the Sunday brunch ride, which is the the excursion we are doing today with the family. This is one of the most popular rides with a Santi am excursion train. Other train rides especially for children are the lunch Box ride and they have special occasion train rides like for those for valentine’s day or mother's day and many more holidays. Pricing varies depending on the length of the ride and the amenities that they offer on board
Our train is located on the Albany-Lebanon line here in Oregon and starting in 20114 this railroad had offered excursions and charter trains, and now it is called the santiam excursions trains featuring the santa maria valley railroad 205 and the southern pacific 5399.
