    Wonderful Work! As an amateur model builder, I love your techniques. They are right on par with professional stuff, but without the cost!

      That is the idea. I started just because of that. I needed some models, and could not find anything convincing here, and to import was out of the question, due to cost. So over the years one thing led to another ...

      ***** Say, I gatta a idea for you; Have you ever thought of a way(s) to make barbed wire for Military dioramas or models of farms? Just a thought.

      Ffarquhar Model Productions a few years late, but jewelry wire makes good barbed wire fences. Look at Luke Towans video on it

    • @PhilipStephens007
      @PhilipStephens007  Před 10 lety +1

      Yes, I am sorry that I have not done more model making. I have decided to try to do every fourth tutorial a model one. I am not a professional model maker nor full time enthusiast , but it does have its place in what we do with puppets, and it is subject to what is happening in the wider puppet world we live in.

  • @DJRoksor
    @DJRoksor Před 7 lety

    I just happened across your vid and don't make miniatures, so I'm far from an expert but wouldn't the result be better if you used clear glue, instead of white glue?

    • @PhilipStephens007
      @PhilipStephens007  Před 7 lety

      The white PVA glue dries transparent.and it reduces in volume as it dries , so it is not a problem.

    • @DJRoksor
      @DJRoksor Před 7 lety

      Oh ok, is it matte or shiny when it's dry?
