In sync with Aristotles Ethics...on happiness...which is wisdom: you can't know something till you do it. Theoretical jibber jabber isn't enough, but actually living the teaching roots it in a different level.
That is the problem with Christian nationalism today, funded by big oil, Koch, Pu tin thru their multinational biz consultant/ Christian vote wholesaler, money changer Ralph Reed: why do what Jesus said when you can just use the label & also profit vastly off it.
I have wondered if Buddha's truth excerpts affected Aristotle, 2 centuries later. And St Paul & Jesus & Epictetus, 3 or 4 c's later. Teachings up & down the Silk Rd, later still.
Luke's gospel mentions "wise men from the East." Maybe Buddhists? Or Persians affected by Buddhist wisdom?
