    Any idea how to check kung cooked na yung salmon?

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 2 lety

      Hi! The best way is to use a thermometer (around 125 F or 51 C) or just carefully flake the fish from the center. Fortunately, salmon is delicious undercooked so if unsure, better to under bake than overbake. Good luck! Thanks for visiting and watching our videos. 😊

    How do you know the salmon underneath is already cooked? Sorry, newbie cook!

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 3 lety

      Hi! For this recipe, when you see that the cheese sauce is bubbling, the salmon underneath is being cooked or is cooking. You can actually remove the tray and let the residual heat of the tray and the sauce cook the fish for perfectly tender salmon. Good luck! Thanks for visiting and watching our videos. :)

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 2 lety

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 2 lety

      Hi! Same procedure, just smaller potions since the air fryer has a smaller capacity. However, you may want to line the basket with foil so the juices from the salmon and the cream sauce doesn't leak out. 😉 Good luck! Thanks for watching and visiting our channel. 😊

    Hi po! I plan to do this on Sunday for my tita who's been asking for baked Salmon. I have a question lang po, how do you prep/clean the salmon before adding the ingredients? Do i need to rinse it well with salt? Should I add condiments when rinsing? Sorry po for this question hehehe this is my first time to bake salmon kasi. I usually cook pork, beef and chicken only. 😅 thank you!

    • @ejiluna16
      @ejiluna16 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Also what brand of fresh milk did you use po? Can I replace it to evaporated milk? 😅

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hello! There is not much you need to do once you have your salmon slab. You can ask your fish monger to remove the scales from the skin before hand but do not remove the skin as this will make it easier to keep the salmon from falling apart. You can also ask the for the pin bones to be removed. You can do this at home by running your hand down the flesh and feeling for the tinik (you can usually feel them poking out) before removing with fish tweezers. Also, it's best to undercook rather than overcook the salmon. Good luck! We hope your tita (and your family!) loves this dish. Thanks for dropping by our channel. 😊

    • @yummyph
      @yummyph  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Oh! Re the fresh milk, if you use evaporated milk instead, dilute the evap with water so it's not too milky strong in taste.

      Hi! Oh no. Always regulate your heat since yes, things can burn or toast faster than you think. Also, scrape the bottom of your saucepan since that's what's close to the flame. You can also always turn off the heat if you need to move away from the stove and your pot if you need to grab something from the refrigerator or kitchen cabinet. Hope that helps! Hope the salmon was tasty anyway. Thanks for visiting and watching our videos. 😊
