- Bah Samba wouldnt be Bah Samba if they hadnt come up with a good version of Portuguese Love. Actually Alice Russells singing isnt miles away from Teena Marie, its just the tempo of the song that has been raised. Together with an organic instrumentation like trumpet, saxes, flute, violin, cello and percussion this is a great update of Teenas song.

Hmm not really lovin the vocals....
This mix is hot - sickening arrangement....but i'm not really that fond of the vocals, though...still a great cover....
This version falls way short of the original - I can appreciate them trying to do something different with this classic, but Teena's voice was pure magic and this production is lacking in many regards. Not pleased with this.
