The crab squid also destroyed it just a few seconds after he left, so it wouldn’t have made much of a difference

I’m like 95% sure the in-world reason a lot of the coordinates are corrupted is because the radiation is messing with the electronics. Also, great video, it’s always amazing to see people playing this game for the first time :D

As someone who has done 5+ plays of this game, the walls and floors in this game are more like light suggestions on where you should go than actual objects.

Pro tip. You can build at Cyclops, i turned mine into a base with growing food and big container for each resource. Best way to kill reaper is with prawns mining hand.
Lol, for real! I got this in like 2018 and played it pretty hard... got to the volcano area and like an ass, took the Cyclops down there.
My next trip was scavenging my stuff from the lockers of the broken sub. I quit.
Finally went back in late 2022 and made my sub a base at the giant tree and beat the game.
Lesson learned.
I'm surprised in the last fight that crowmeda didn't use the grapple arm so he can grapple to the reaper and use the drill arm to drill the absolute hell out of the reaper.
At that time i had no idea that was even possible but that sounds awesome XD

@@Sanctus_Bellatori think stasis rifle is the more efficient way but grapple drill is more fun
The gas torpedos do a lot of damage but regenerate after they leave the cloud. The way to kill it using them is to stasis rifle it and spam it with gas torpedos so it dies. Grappling onto it and using the drill arm is just a lot easier though

I passed this game with many spoilers in between but it was a phenomenal experience, I wouldnt have imagined the incredible combination that your charisma would be with the playthrough, love every single of your videos and i can go knowing the time i spent watching them was worth it

Bro i I hate the part at the sea emperor when she dies I really hate it because the way she talked to the character was so sweet it made me feel so much empathy for her for her suffering just being stuck there and then the story of her being stuck there and then the I don't even remember what they're called The Architects being they're not helping her or giving her what she wants it hurts so much cuz it reminded me of stuff in my life but oh my God it hurts to see that here that it makes me cry all the damn time
I have to say, this video is very well done. The storytelling and editing, God this must have taken forever. I cannot imagine how much footage there was alone
Lol the torpedoes don't do damage.. they're strictly for defense. If you had made the stasis rifle, you could have froze it in place & knifed it. Your knife is the only offensive weapon in the game that can actually kill. There's lore that explains why.
Drill arm on the prawn can do the job just fine too.

Not gonna lie, I spent five minutes in my moth scanning the biome where Keen's pod was for Reaper silhouettes or their roars.Kinda crazy how there isn't really any reapers there, tho.It's perfect territory for them, based off their data entry.
Small tip about upgrading you O2 tank: You don't need to waste resources by building an extra one for the upgrade, you can just unequip your old O2 tank and use it to build the new one

Funny... they designed it so you never had to make the scenic trip back. If you had your locations memorized, the babies came out through the final portal, which was the one underwater right next to the giant laser. All you had to do was deactivate it then and there, seaglide to the rocket and leave.
And now we wait for Subnautica Below Zero xD
There is another level where you go down into the void and fight the big boss in order to collect pieces of the ship in order to leave the planet, Big Boss is a Ghidorah plesiosaur known as The King of The Deep… check it out and good luck 😊
Loved the Patron name wall, shortened names and all. LOL I think my favorite parts are the sections where you can tell you are battening down the hatches because of fear from the creepy monsters. Braver than me by far - I would have such a hard time exploring. Another awesome vid, thank you for such hard work and for such a long video!

I think it's funny that the room the emporor is in has portals in it that take u to the locations of all the plants you need you never half to leave the lava zone or the containment facility

So to explain why the crashfish explode when you release them, theyre essentially meant for you to use them like homing missiles. In creative i jokingly released a crashfish near a reaper and he homed in on it before immediately committing sudoku
Gravtrap gets more than fish. It is an efficient way to gather materials too.
to avoid the Ghost Leviathan attacking your cyclops, you have to put your cyclops on the lowest speed and silent mode then you will be safe when going by the Ghost Leviathan.

The dead zone has the biggest ghost leviathan in the game, and when you get out of the map it pushes you back in to the map

I just love this game, the amount of references to content creators is amazing. Neebs gaming with the sandwiches, JackSepticeye with the been water ( aka the coffee), and probably something else I’m forgetting.
You don’t even need a propulsion/repulsion cannon to explore the Aurora, there’s a second entrance to it and you should be able to jump on the debris to get in/out
The two guys arguing about the sandwich is Neebs and Appsro from Neebs gaming. They are among my favorite CZcamsrs. They do cinematic let's plays. I highly recommend them.
The pace of the game picks up, you are still in the first parts of the exploration and tool/mechanics phase

But the game has also an arachnophobia mode (I use it too and I can tell you, spiders without legs and large teeth look waaayyy less creepy)

re the crash fish, when it swims towards you try swimming not away but towards it and past. They are set to explode at a certain distance and can't do U tuns, rfesult, you get away with less or no damage.;

YES!!! Crowmeda takes on the big bad alien ocean!!! And dominates!!
Players can try to let a reaper get close and then stasis rifle it before getting back into their prawn suit to fire all of their torpedoes before the reaper escapes the rifle blast. This could definitely kill a reaper, which has 5000 health and could be eliminated by taking the full damage from 10 torpedo clouds.

@@myst3151 Completely false, all hostile leviathans can be killed and (with the exception of void ghosts) do not respawn. I have killed reapers with both the thermoblade and the seamoth perimeter defense system, the latter I've also used to kill a ghost levi. I've also seen a sea dragon be killed with gasopod gas pods.
fun fact reapert leviathans hunt through ecolocation, the roar didnt give it away, it gave crow away

11:17, Just for your information. A modder I watched in the past tried FIXING the main ship before it blows, and it blew up anyways... So this is apparently part of the Story line.
Everyone that I watch do a play through of subnautica never get seeds of the bloodstalks, kelps, gell sacks, ect and just plant and grow them. Just so they don’t have to go back to the scary places more than they need to.
