  • Tee Swing is Great But Doesn't Do it At The Plate
    Players will often break down once they move from tee to front toss/pitched ball. There is a huge difference in a ball sitting still and one thats in motion. But, mechanically there should be no change. Youth hitters must learn how to control the movement of their weight shift to help them stay back when hitting. Take your player from a reactive or defensive hitter to one that can read/recognize and ultimately become an offensive hitter at the plate.
    What is the Challenge
    The challenge is created for 9-12's. It comes with:

    Are you ok with him not having a parallel stance? That left leg opens up

      I think the front leg opening can be a problem if the player is front side dominant, or if they do this no matter the location of the pitch. As you can see he had cut down the front leg opening in half but still some work to do. Thanks for the question!
