in simple words wow!!! I am very very glad that you took M.R Abhi into this, the best person to describe old era of Unified railways pre partitioned time, tbh after hearing this story from past... gonna admit that era was very very very complex.... just imagine the pre partition steam era, punjab mail which was known was 5dn/6up currently known as 12137up/12138dn used to depart mumbai CSMT(Chatrapati shivaji maharaj terminal) used to take more than 60+hrs and used the same route as today of nashik road, manmad, Itarsi, bhopal, agra, then used to reach delhi and after that additional 1 more day to reach LHR... nowadays this train takes only 27hrs from mumbai csmt to ndls(new delhi) and curently terminated at firozpur cantt( nearest city to Kasur from Indian side). now this train takes total 33hrs to complete one side journey with impressive avg speed of 73kmph and 130kmph max speed unlike 72hrs from past... indeed the travelling time at that era was very complex and time taking , tbh not even imaginabale by a railfan from this current era.... then the concept of detachment from punjab mail at bhatinda and attached to sammasata exp coming from umbala cantt, then also at rohri junction where 7up and 8dn karachi mail has to wait to exchange its coaches from 10dn quetta mail, and give their pair of coaches to 9up quetta mail, and just imagine how much time the the process used to take place and how much each trains used to wait for other trains... and quetta to zahidan approx 730km zahedan mixed passenger used to take 50+ hrs to travel.... totally unimaginable and very complex... you gotta admit sir, chahe IR ho ya fir PR we have developed from past, might not be as progressive as other european and asian countries... but still we are evolving for betterment, its my very very request kindly also make a similar video on peshawar railway station and also discuss with M.R Abhi about the history of legendary frontier mail, how it used to run how did frontier mail evolved into two different trains as khyber mail of PR and golden temple mail of IR.... anyways thanks alot to you and M.R Abhi for explaining the complex process of travel during pre partition era... cheers!!!!

Quetta & Chaman was Connected with Delhi before Partition. Mujhe trains ka to nai pata key konsi chalti thi leikin Route Khuch is tarha sey tha.
1st Route:
Start From Delhi, Rewari, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Hisar, Sirsa, Bathinda, Malout, Abohar, Hindu Malkot, Mandi Sadiq Ganj (Junction That Time), Minchinabad, Bahawalnagar Jn, Chistian, Hasilpur, Baghdad & Samasatta Jn
2nd Route:
Start From Delhi, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Patiala, Barnala, Bathinda, Kot Kapura, Sri Mukhtsar Sahib, Fazilka, Amruka, Mandi Sadiq Ganj, Bahawalnagar Jn, Chistian, Baghdad & Samasatta Jn

Delhi Jn to Rewari Jn- Hisar Jn Bhatinda Jn was functioning under the Metre-gauge system by the BBCI (Bombay Baroda and Central India Railway). Delhi Jn to Bhatinda Jn on the Broad-gauge system is part of Delhi- Lahore mainline and runs via Bahadurgarh. From Bhatinda Jn to Kotkapura Jn and up to Fazilka Jn was BBCI'S operated Metre-gauge system (Rewari- Fazilka line). Bhatinda Jn to Kotkapura Jn and was Metre-gauge- Broad-gauge section (either mixed or parallel) and Kotkapura Jn to Fazilka Jn was pure Metre-gauge. Bhatinda Jn- Kotkapura Jn- Ferozepore Cantonment Jn- Hussainiwala- Kasur Jn- Raiwind Jn and Lahore Jn was worked by NWR's BG system (part of Delhi- Lahore Main line . Delhi Jn to Lahore Jn via Ferozepore Cantonment Jn is the shortest among the other routes to Lahore Jn via Saharanpur Jn (Main-line) and Panipat Jn (Chord). Then from Bhatinda Jn to Samasata Jn was administered under the Ferozepore Division of NWR. Route is as follows:
Bhatinda Jn- Hindumalkote- Macleodganj Road Jn (branch line to Amruka and Fazilka Jn)- Bahawalnagar Jn (Fort Abbas branch) and Samasata Jn.
2nd route route as described by you is actually the chord line, running via Panipat Jn. 99Up Express, as described in Faheem ji's video, is operating from Ambala Cantonment Jn station and running via Dhuri Jn- Bhatinda Jn- Hindumalkote- Macleodganj Road Jn & Bahawalnagar Jn to Samasata Jn. Bhatinda to Kotkapura is MG-BG. But from Kotkapura Jn to Fazilka it is Metre-gauge not broad-gauge. In actual, the route via Bhatinda route was meant to provide through connectivity for South Punjab, Sind region, Baluchistan and to the port of Karachi (Kiamari). The route from Delhi would completely bypass the Lahore Main line and directly makes an entry into the South Punjab and from thereon , it could proceed through to Sind province, Baluchistan and to the port of Karachi via Samasata Jn. Halaanki South Punjab aur Sind ke liye direct trains Dilli se koi bhi nahi thi. Bombay aur Dilli se saari trains Lahore, Rawalpindi aur Peshawar ke liye hi zyaada hoti thi.

Good vlog as ever. Quetta station is a heritage, really. Ek cheez mein point out karna chahta hoon. Remembrance plate jo k marble ki hae us mein quetta earthquake ke victims k naam hein. Is marble plate par hamare kisi bhai ne apna phone number khod diya hae jo k us plate k spirit ya taqqadus ko kharab kar raha hae. Ab jab quetta station ki renovation ka kaam ho raha hae to meri request hae k is remembrance plate ko mehfooz kar liya jae. Maslan,Is k aage motay shishe ka frame laga diya jae ta k phir koi khabasat na kar sake. It is very important. Yeh hamara farz hae k jin logon ne us din apni jaanein dee kam az kam hum unke naamon ki takhti ki hifazat hi kar lein. I hope u will use ur linkage and get it done.

The memorial carrying list of persons who perished in earth quake must be preserved. I think if some glass panel is installed over it that will protect it from further vandalism

فہیم صاحب اسلام علیکم، میں آپ کی ویڈیو ھیوسٹن ٹیکساس امریکہ میں دیکھتا ھوں، میں خود کوئٹہ سے ھوں میں نے کئی مرتبہ اس ریلوے اسٹیشن سے سفر کیا ھے مگر میری یادداشت میں کوئٹہ سٹیشن اتنا ماڈرن اور خوبصورت نہیں تھا، آخری دفعہ میں نے اس سٹیشن کو 1972 میں استعمال کیا تھا جب میں 12 یا 13 سال کا تھا، بہرحال اس وقت میں نے آپکے ایک دیکھنے والے صاحب جو کہ ھندوستان سے تھے انکو سنا، اگر آپ ان سے دوبارہ contact میں ھوں تو میرا سلام اور well wishes انکو دیجئے گا انکو سن کر بہت اچھا لگا، ان کی معلومات بہتcomprehensive تھیں ، معلومات میں بہت اضافہ ھوا ھے۔
