Enjoyed this Andrew look forward to the next one great to go round in your cab again watching the oats going into the combine header
Another interesting one Eric was looking out on watch to see what was running about
The drapers are more expensive but it’s definitely better when it is chewy. Grand video as always 👍
Draper headers are a bit of a con tbh.... Having run Macdons and conventional ones, yes the dons are great for beans, peas, lentils etc they aren't really necessary for anything else considering they cost 3x the price of a normal front
It’s so tough to watch these a week behind… so want to be able to warn you what the weather has got to in store for you.
Hi Andy, funny enough on Friday night I was cutting rape and snapped the header knife in the exact same place as you did. We pushed the knife up the header and put the broken part at the opposite end and made a joiner, going well now 😃👍
Is it a common fault?
Same, we broke ours the other night, 690i but we had a spare knife in the header so we were good to go in 20mins
@@b14clg I seem to manage to break them !! 😂😂 whether it is fatigue or not I'm not too sure !
@@olliebob8370 I'm from Yorkshire, we have a brand new spare but can't use that one we have to bodge and repair, classic tight Yorkshire farmer 🙈😂
Great video Andy hope you have a great 👍 harvest 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🚜🚜👩🌾👩🌾🦌🦌🦌
Nice mate I’m all caught up now would of watched over the weekend but had my wedding party Anyway always interesting and a pleasure to watch Andy keep up the good work buddy
Brilliant video Andy, thank you 👍
Great video Andy I have a claas lexion and a John Deere s790i the claas header is is better for when the wetter weather 👍
Great video Andy.
Great video Andy oats are a pain when it gets damp
Hey I had a few questions.
What's your typical yeild for spring oats? Also what do you use to seed and at what rate?
Great video Andy, hope they all do good yields. Did you have the demo in? Olly blogs on CZcams cutting at 25% in the rain!!!! You need a claas and flex on it. Don't let it run out of ad blu.
Hi mate thanks, the NH demo should be coming this week 🤞🏼 Yes I have seen him doing that its quite impressive that the crop goes through the machine so smoothly at that moisture!
Olly has the benefit that his dryers cost him bugger all to run 👌🏻😂
Crazy
@@Itsafarminglifeforme Hi Andy lovely to watch your videos really love to see your socks feet in cab sometimes do u ever take shoes off to drive
Groves on the concrete grain floor
Excellent video!
Great video
Hi nice video good work keep them come 👍👍👍👍
Awesome video as always andy
Would you be kind enough to give us the heads up when you do a live stream as quite often yt only let's me know about 20 mins into the live stream
Andy is this/these farm a corporate farm or owned by a family? With the amount of JD equipment and the grain handling facilities you have shown I just wonder not that it matters. Also, how will the lack of EU subsidies impact on the overall operations for the holdings?
Great video andy 👍
Dont feel like you have to answer this just because it's personal pal.
Do you work for a company or are you self employed? Do you take a salary or does that vary depending on how well your field yield?
Long time subscriber here, enjoy your videos so keep up the good work dude. Love the clips of your Eric :)
What would be difference in draper header?
It has a big rubber belt instead of the auger to bring in the crop much smoother and more evenly
@@frederikspannerolesen9514 thanks pal am an agri tyre guy so all new to me ,love these boys keep it up Andy top class 👌
Hi were are you placed in the uk
