‼Please do not follow this method of heatsink removal, at 09:31 as you lift it up without removing the full heatsink assembly you are bending the heatsink pipe and causing irreparable damage. This can later be seen at 09:38 further disassembly is needed and the whole heatsink should be removed as a single piece. This will also make cleaning easier.

I had an old laptop that would suddenly shut down too. I opened up the inside of the laptop and used a can of air to blow the dust out of the fan and vents. No more shut downs now.

Heatsink looks like you break it, is it not a problem for cooling system?

He crushed the heat sink pipe, which will worsen the efficiency of the cooling system.

Did this fix the system shutting down suddenly?

Not completely. It made the computer better. But occasionally it would still shut down. Although I found a fix later on and that was to use Intel chipset drivers directly from Intel instead of Dell drivers.
      Download them from here: www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/72252/wireless/wireless-software/intel-prosetwireless-software.html
      Good luck!

@@MarkoKrejicthe only one on the list is windows s7, so you mean I downgrade my lapp to win 7 to avoid shutting down?

@@rankit2411 It seems like the driver is available from Dell now using SupportAssist. I just fixed up another Dell E7250 without the need for this driver anymore. If you still have issues then you should re-apply the thermal paste according to what I showed in the video.

@@MarkoKrejic Brother, I downloaded it too! But there are times when I use softwares that are like not built in, or I overly used my laptop like playing 12 tabs in chrome ( while charging) it triggers again the shutdown on my laptop. On the other hand it does not trigger if no AC plugged in. How was that? Could I maybe get some explanation please?
