  • From my very first try at 3d printed pinhole camera, made in february, i managed to build not bad analog of x-pan by april. It works! What else do you need? Ahh yeah... stability, image quality and ease of use. Next 4th version of Infidex should solve all this problems. I hope so 👀
If you wondering where you can see all photos from the trip - timetowaste.ru
Download link is here. If you, for some reasons (no judgement), want to try print it yourself - timetowaste.ru...
It is now open source project. You can help or join the development of the 5th version of the camera.

      Thank you!
I'm just finishing the printing and assembly guide. Then another day to prepare the files and I think it will be possible to share. I decided to make the project open source. Stay tuned, I'll let you know when it's finished in the comments

I love the project, month ago i printed a pinhole panorama camera that i found on Thingiverse, it works well but as you say the center is sharp and the rest is not. I think is because the flat plane needed to be a little curved to have the same distance on all film from the pinhole.
I will definitely print and testing out your camera. Thank you for sharing all this with us.
    Best regards, Ben.
EDIT : The majority of the STL parts are not in the right scale. The "main_bottom" is in the right scale i think, so i have to scale up the others parts to ~2540% and it's not going precise if i do so. Can you please check the files scale ? I checked the FBX parts and converted to STL and it give me the same "too tiny" size. Thank you vm.

@paperben hi Ben. Thank you for your reply. Indeed, there are some problems with the scale of models. I think it is because of converting from metric to imperial system. For example, blender imports fbx files incorrectly. But prusha slicer, does it all right. At least in my case. I would be happy to fix it if you can help me with checking the files. You can send me a message on my website so I can send you a bunch of files to check different solutions. I think it's a good way to check it on different setups.
Again, thank you for your interest in the project. I hope you will enjoy it. The new video with the results is coming soon as well

@@time_to_waste Hi, thank you for your response. Cool, i will check the new download files and i give you feedback. For info i use an Ender 5 Plus with the Creality slicer. I can also check with another slicer too and see if it make some difference. As you say maybe is because of the converting...

Is the Mamiya lens from a Mamiya Universal/Press?

@PaskalS nope. It's from TLR Mamiya C330. They can be identified by the text on the front ring. Most C330 lenses have no text
