- In MX Bikes' current Beta(B18), the physics are in a solid place when it comes to freeriding and whips. The bike feels flowy and heavy and the rider has a heavy influence on the inertia of the whip depending on how the rider-lean inputs are timed. It's possible to throw moto whips, turn ups, turn downs, and many other styles of whips.
This particular video was made to show some flow in the current state of MX Bikes, a few different whips, and a few harsh landings, all in a freeride setting. - Hry

cause he probably plays in 3rd person all the time, while most play 1st person and can't see what the bike/rider does.
@HeilHaltzo definitely true. For freeride or cruising I love running 3rd person. For hotlaps and racing, I run 1st person.

ive got a few hundred hours and i genuinely cant wrap my head around how you have your whips so perfect...
Means alot man! Few thousand hours here. But the real progress started to be made when I realized MXB whips are based off of trajectory. Anything else you do in the air is kind of just a tweak of whatever you initiated off the lip. When you ride like that, you can throw whips without ever moving the bars.
Most of it comes down to the timing of the inputs, both rider lean and lean. But seat time is always the answer. Everytime you play the game try to learn something new.

Yeah most definitely can learn a lot about the game riding 3rd person. On track I like to use 1st but freeriding or cruising laps I prefer 3rd for the shmeeze

where did you get that rider kit? and what helmet is that? And how do you make rider movement look so good?
Made the kit, purchased the helmet from Aeffertz on the MX Sim forum.
And been around since beta 8. (2018)
I've always just made it a point that when I play the game, try to learn something new every time. I learned quickly that I didn't have the consistency to race so I put my time into learning the physics and whips!

I found imagination IRL, its not where they tell you it is, whole different state
Interesting. I believe this map was made from Lidar data. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's scanned in one way or another. It might not be too tough to figure out where it is after the couple years it's been around. More data available to the public.

Is a good bloom, DOF, and color balance shaders make all the difference in realistic shaders. I only run 2 or 3 to achieve that look. Most importantly is how you set up your bloom.
My personal reshade is private and changes between every track, thanks for asking though.

A Bloom shader
A color correction shader
And a depth of field
How do you move the bike around so much freely? I feel like mine is stiff
It comes down to the trajectory.
A combination of throttle, trajectory of the bike, and using the rider lean to influence off the lip.
In other words, my whip or what I'm doing in the air is already decided before I hit the lip of the jump. And the reason it looks flowy is because I'm following through with what I initiated.

I did not, that's the regular fov, but I did play with the camera height a bit before settling on this!

In this video I was riding the previous OEM's but since then, i've rode mostly Factory bikes.
I really like the way they oppo, the returns feel so sick and can emulate the Hodges/Bereman returns. Motowhips seem to be a little easier on OEMs but doesnt mean they cant be sick on Factory bikes... I still personally prefer the feel of Factory bikes but both are great options still for freeride!

This bike was a Factory bike at the time, I now use the OEMs.
I believe that you can use the BEYER sound mods still.. you should be able to find them on Mods.
Im pretty sure a couple of my buds use them but im not 100%. I've just put up with the current CRF450 sound.

Coolest dirtbike game in existence. Don't get me wrong, it has its fair share of bugs or issues. But at the end of the day, it's a great game to unwind and get steezy.

How do you download it? I got it when it was free but it doesn’t work
You would download it and drop it into a track folder like 'motocross' or make a folder called 'freeride' and put it in there.

I've been playing since 2018 and still learn often. This game has so many ways to do things. There's not necessarily a right or wrong way to do something.
Also sweet that 3 or 4 people can throw the same whip and have different style.
