If your camera doesn’t turn when flipped horizontally, check your menu settings and make sure the ‘Screen Lock’ or ‘Orientation’ is set to ‘OFF’ or ‘Unlocked’.

I'm trying to retain A little bit of knowledge myself then I go in and forget half of what I had remembered until on the spot .. I like how you showed the people how to hold the phone.You should have a stand that you put your phone on.And they can look at the stand, and that's how they should hold it. When you have people that don't understand you just point to your phone.That's sitting on the stand and it shows that it is sitting horizontally

They are getting better at it, though! Many have done the measurements and understand how to orient their cellphone cameras, now.

I don’t go anywhere without my loop. I have always had one in my purse since 1977. My father in law owned a jewelry store. He gave me my first one to teach me about hallmarks.

I don't think you were rude. But you do have a funny sense of humor that people don't understand. When you told the caller that you should be offended, the caller was surprised by getting on. Callers don't know if/when they will get on. I have tried to get on at least 5 times. Once we get in the backstage door, we wait and cannot see the "show" unless we have a second screen to watch the video and leave the phone open for being a guest. If I call on my cell phone, then I just wait and cannot see the show, maybe I am doing something wrong. You chastised the caller but I think you were being funny. You made it up to her by talking about being scared. You were okay. by the end you made it up to the caller. Maybe one day soon, I will have the courage to get on. I think you are the smartest and coolest person. You have taught me so very much! I thank you for giving everyone your everything. You are kind beyond words; I am lucky to understand your sense of humor. I digress. 🙂
The people that are staying sideways when they turn their phones have their screens locked in portrait mode so they won't turn. They need to unlock them - Android phones can access that feature from their scroll down menus- not sure about iPhones. 🙂

My house burned down, too, Dr. Lori. I hate that you went through that, too. You’re right about survival mode. I got my kids and my dog out first, then went back in for my purse.
I have the same picture of the little girl in blue dress with the Forget-me-nots from the guy with the Jesus t-shirt, but in mine her dress is pink and the flowers are daisies. Interesting...

My maternal grandma passed on (what I think are lithographs) to my mom and now to me. They are all about 8x10” in size. At this point, they are still stored in grandma’s old trunk, I just pull them out once in awhile to enjoy them. Would it be safe to put them in a frame and place each one where the sun doesn’t cast it’s light on them? By the way, one of them is of Louis Pasteur (don’t know how to spell it). I also have a very old book about him. Once I get my new home settled, find a place for everything, I hope to have a call/appraisal of some of grma’s items. Thx so much for all you do!💜

My husband and I have only been here for 7 months, we were blessed to get two different hutches free to put all the glassware in. I’m still trying to find room for hanging pictures, so wondered if the lithos would be safe in a frame. Amongst all the stuff in the trunk is also a 2’ x 3’ coloring book that must have been my mom’s when she was little. She was born in 1919, passed away in 1986. Much of the heirloom pieces won’t be passed on to our own children…they just aren’t interested, their loss! It ends with me! 🥲

Me, the appraiser to identify your painting. I may not need to see it out of the frame. Experts don't rely solely on signatures.

when your camera doesn't switch to horizontal /landscape mode when you rotate your phone, you have to go Into your Phone SETTINGS and make sure that "auto rotate" OR "SMART VIEW" is turned ON. u can usually access a phones settings quickly from the home screen [for android usually just swipe down from task bar at top of screen [where your battery % and clock are.]
Tip #2 buy a stand for you phone so everyone doesn't get seasick.

I am. I'm house bound since covid. I can't walk more than about 20 ft without 02 dropping to 74. I thought life was over even considered hospice but your show hase been a game changer. I can actually do things and buy things and sell to help occupy my time besides stuck in bed with nothing but treatments and 92. Thank you dearly. I'm only 62. I have my 7th grandchild due in December. I'm so excited to want to be here now. They actually want to come and spend the day to watch Dr Lori now.

I have a very sentimental situation and a question about how to acquire a print.
It was my aunt and uncle who had the painting of Jesus in their home in Louisiana for 60 years.
The Salvador Mundie, I believe is what it turned out to be. It was sold at the estate sale by my cousins after my aunt and uncle passed away.
It was purchased and resold for a fortune and resold for over 400 million to a Saudi prince.
One of the greatest finds of all time.
Well, a woman repaired it a bit and that took about 6 years. Before it was sold to the prince, who, by the way, supposedly has it stored on his yacht and out of the publics sight,
...It was shown in a museum for a short while, and I was thinking that surely they would have taken pictures of it.
And I am trying to find out how I can purchase a print of this to put in my home. I would also like to purchase one for my cousin who is so sad that she didn't know the true value of the painting, especially since she has had financial stress.
If you know about this and can tell me how I can purchase a print of this ,
