I think this is the most i've ever heard from Sean in an interview. He's awesome.

I heard him say 'I'm Sean Moore' in a segment yesterday. That is the most I have heard prior to this interview. That's one word for each of the last three decades.

I love The Manics beyond words, their songs have carried me through some the darkest times in my life and I already feel that this song will feature heavily in the soundtrack to whatever sadness lies ahead of me.

Up to a point I agree.
This album was decent. This song not so much...a bit ABC production with the piano etc.
But their last one sounded like MOR muzak.
I could here Abba, Elvis Costello, Ian McCulloch, Bee Gees, Morrissey bla de bla.
I'm not saying all of it was crap but most of it was.
      For me anyway.
Richey once commented (before he left that hotel)..that James new song (unrecorded) sounded like The Girl From Ipanema.
      Let's leave it like that.

I love this song. Have listened to it almost every day for years. This look at the band and perfect performance of the song is incredible. I love this!

That was unexpectedly lovely. As an old school Manics fan I've been mostly disappointed with their post-90s output, so I haven't paid them much attention for the last few years, but I'm glad I've found them again. This song had me tearing up - it made feel young again and old at the same time, like meeting old friends after a long absence but also saying goodbye to something. It's just the melancholic euphoria I needed right now.

Thanks for the upload, nice bit of exposure for the band. I love the new song, but a real shame they had to play a much shorter version.

They should have got in a Welsh male choir for the "woah woahs"

Way too much reliance on backing tapes. They’re one of the best live bands and don’t need to do that.

It sounds like they are using a Manics-Mid-Tempo-Ballad-Generator since 1995.

You cannot have been listening to their music since 1995. It is varied.

The three of them are good at creating 'melancholic euphoria'.
Just a shame that they ain't as exciting or as good as they were 91-94.

This is a Manics gem. All that's changed over the years is that there are fewer flaws in the really good songs.
