Man these hearings go so much faster when you skip past the commies questioning. And Ms Plaskett, this is exactly where I want my tax dollars to go. To have over sight over the government. And let’s add if the commies didn’t send trillions of tax dollars to Ukraine theirs plenty of money to hold these hearings.
And Shultz the person who did the Parkland shooting was a Democrat. Just saying. 😂

It’s sickens me to hear people bring up shootings like Parkland high school, when we know for a fact this shooter was known to local law-enforcement and FBI as a ticking time bomb and they took no action. They alone had the responsibility of dealing with the issue of this mentally ill individual. This shooting like so many other shootings was not a regulatory matter but a criminality and health issue. ATF had no business being involved in a matter like this yet one political party will distract the public from the failure of said government to face the real issue , crime. And if we are going to be honest blaming the police when it is the government that sets the standards and has over site of the police is silly childish way of dealing and facing hard issues. Police management is a critical issue to the country as a whole but I guess doing the hard work doesn’t draw attention in a public hearing like getting arrogant and blaming “gun violence.”.
“Our tax dollars need to be put into oversight in agencies that have no elective officials and where they get to set their own regulatory procedures.. Our government has failed people in its regulatory administration responsibilities. Agencies like ATF and the EPA are out of control government agencies, who seek power and more money to fund budgets to seek power. The majority of the American public or innocent human beings just trying to live their life. It is an extremely small percentage of the population that has criminal intent. In New York City, they say they locked up 350 people in the entire of the city, crime will drop 98%. Congress this agency is out of city trip. Do your job.
The ATF killed an innocent man here and instead of take responsibility they want to increase their budget. The arrogance.

    Just a heads up.
CZcams’s got search visibility limitations on these hearing videos, it’s almost impossible to find them. Most results are clips from Taibbis testimony. Scrolled WAY DOWN and found his full length video from y’all’s channel. Didn’t even know this hearing and a few others happened.
Y’all also might want to categorize these hearings into playlists. I looked there and in videos before I tried “Live”. A lot of people aren’t going to look there.

Traitor pieces of trash in Congress take this opportunity to attack the people’s rights instead of addressing the targeted murder the ATF goons perpetrated against Malinowski. They show their true colors for all to see in such circumstances.

Ms. Plaskett seems to be quite intelligent and well-spoken. Yet she quotes statistics out of context that are extremely misleading. Everyone who is remotely familiar with those statistics knows that the vast majority of deaths of children (that is, those under 18 years of age), are by SUICIDE -- not mass shootings or other homicides.
If we could magically remove all guns from America tomorrow, from both criminals and law-abiding citizens, and we made no other changes, many, if not most, of those suicides would continue. The method of suicides would be different, but the suicides would continue. That's because many of our young people have serious mental health issues. The issue is NOT with guns or their supposed ease of accessibility, and it WILL NOT go away by eliminating guns nor by violating the constitutional rights of all citizens to own and bear them.
Members of the Left are committed to using our children as emotional hostages in their attempts to continuously effect end-runs around the 2nd Amendment -- a part of our U.S. Constitution for over 230 years. They know they will never be able to rescind the Amendment legally, so they constantly try to dilute it effects through bureaucratic, and often unconstitutional, means.
The ATF is one such means. No where in the Constitution is the "ATF" or any of the other 3-letter Federal agencies named. These agencies were meant to formulate and administer the regulations that are deemed necessary and appropriate for "fleshing out" and enforcing the laws passed by Congress. Only the Congress is authorized to pass laws -- with or without the signature of the President. Neither the President nor anyone in the entire Executive Branch of Government has that authority.
Yet the ATF, just like most of the other 3-letter Federal agencies, are continually trying to usurp that authority by defining their regulations in such a way as to go against the spirit, and often the letter, of the laws they are responsible for enforcing.
Though these agencies are part of the Executive and not the Legislative Branch, Congress has budgetary authority over them. They are chartered and funded by the Legislative Branch, and the Congress thus has the responsibility to review and criticize their performance and yes, even the authority to eliminate them outright.
If you research the ATF's own website, you'll find that their chartered and designated functions all have to do with CRIMINAL activities. No where in their charter will you find any authority to attempt to reduce the number of legally-owned firearms or to attempt to take firearms away from lawful citizens or to prevent citizens from manufacturing their own firearms -- a time-honored American tradition. Yet, the ATF has, especially in recent years, made several attempts to do just that by formulating new rules which redefine definitions in laws passed by Congress after the passage of those laws.
I would invite Ms. Plaskett and any other interested parties to read through the entire Wikipedia article on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). What you will find there is documentation of many scandals that have rocked this agency. Congress needs to rein in this agency, make it accountable to the limits of the Law, or simply abolish it and reassign its duties to other agencies.
