Except they didn't. There wasn't some opposing squad that they ran into who started shooting at them while they shot up the downed player.
This is a game about killing people. Killing the other solitary guy made sense.
The guy who killed Adam killed him just to screw up his game when he could have tried running away or taking cover and defending himself from the group while they were distracted with trying to res Adam. The guy who killed Adam wasn't trying to survive, he was just trying to make other people's lives more difficult.

@@mattpassos5689 not so much about the game being ruined... It's more that the guy isn't playing to win. He's playing to ruin the game for other people. There is a difference. The guy sacrificed his own life to ensure their team didn't have a fourth player despite the fact that it didn't in any way ensure his own survival or any sort of victory.

@@mattpassos5689 As BCrane said, killing Adam was a death sentence that didn't do anything positive to move the guy toward winning, and instead insured that he immediately lost. The only thing he succeeded in doing was screwing with the other players by preventing the team from continuing to play together.
Contrast with killing the solo player, where all three of the remaining teammates were still alive and benefited from having one less player in the game, trying to shoot them.
If they'd done the same thing while the other guy's teammates had killed them, THAT would be the same as they would then be dead, and reap no benefits, nor move closer to winning the game.
Theres a huge difference between finishing a downed when you know you're going to die right after, and just finishing a guy
They’re both justifiable, because you’re going to die either way in scenario one, but if you finish him, one of them is dead, and if you shoot the others, they’ll revive whoever you shoot.
@@Fartacus44 first case scenario is able to just blank fire while running for cover, second is just finisher and seems like there's no teammates nearby even.
Second one is logical, you get rid of a possible threat and get one step closer to a win. First one was just being an asshole, this guy could've run into another direction to get away, they would've stayed behind to revive adam, no risk. But instead he chose to kill him for no benefit, he came so close that it was guaranteed he was gonna die. 2nd is justified, 1st isn't.
1st will get you a kill at least, that's probably why they do it lol otherwise u will be left with only damage.

JJ did not have complete freedom with that movie. He was confined to film certain things that were out of his control. It’s why we never got that epic Palpatine fight we were supposed to get at the end, and instead saw what my brother likes to call: Palpatine’s electrile dysfunction.
And if anything, I blame Rian Johnson with the Last Jedi. I mean, let’s be honest. Were we really expecting the trilogy to actually be salvageable at that point, or were we just being wishful?

no, it was definitely killed by the last jedi. TLJ threw out everything the 1st movie setup and started over, and it wasn't really well liked and they didn't want to follow that plotline, so they had to start everything over AGAIN, except this time they had to wrap it up in 1 movie. rise of skywalker was doomed to fail after thr last jedi fucked everything up

Jokes aside, I always finish a downed guy. Learned from my mistake. Ignore the downed guy, searched for his mates, meanwhile he got revived, and after I had downed the other 3, he killed me. So I never leave without finishing the downed guy.

Always double tap. They hit the floor, you put another two in them then worry about reloading and killing the next guy.
Sometimes that makes sense, but it can also be bullshit. Don‘t make it a rule. If you have 10 bullets left and hear his buddy opening the door next to you, you better use them for the standing one and not to satisfy your kill counter and ruining the game for one person and yourself
I played semi competetively, was in a couple pcs and esls and we always flush. The way we see it, is that 1 more point for us. Our winning the tourney may come down to that one point. But if we see each other in normal matches most of us fuck with each other.

It aint, first guy killed adam, knowing that he will die anyway and flipped them off before dying, instead of trying to run away or win the game thats a dick move, because in battle royales. You just need to be the only guy left, doesn't mean you need to be a murder machine. Now if he tried to genuinely fight them off but took adam with him seeing that he couldnt win, thats more understandable.

Yeah, if his team ain't nearby then he's just dying slower, so it's mercy to kill a downed man. If his entire team is coming, only kill him if you know he holds a grudge against you, and will make your game a nightmare. If not, just run fast whilst using cover fire to slow them down enough so you don't get followed

It is immensely satisfying to ruin someone's game when I know my game is going to be ruined anyway. It also helps to ensure that the b*stards who beat me don't end up winning because then they won't have their full team or duo. It's like a "I might go down, but I'm taking you with me" kinda thing.

This. The player already at their teammates will still die if you take out the rest of the party, and they're not going to be getting them up if they're busy fighting you. The one you don't know where their teammates are is a liability and potential knife at your back if you let them just crawl away.
No, it's not. Making an enemy team down by one if your team is going to be down by one as well is smart.

As others have experienced. You leave a downed guy, then he gets revived while you look for his teammates. Or while your guarding him he communicates to his teammates where you are so they flank you from everywhere. Finishing a player is the best option.

I usually do this to prevent people from actually winning a game.
It's different when you have a lone quarter of an enemy squad going for a kill and you get him down to finish him. You're safe. But when you're in a team battle and EVERYONE is engaged, ofc teammates are going to try save the downed tm. And yet they just ignore the absolute blitz coming at them
