For sure. Amsterdam was a beautiful city but definitely had some overly touristy places. But so much more to offer as well. Very grateful we had the opportunity to see it 🥰

Absolutely. Often times the air bnb places are less expensive than hotels and you can get the entire place to yourself. We like it because it kind of feels more like living in the city vs visiting. Kind of 😎

I then take the footage into Premiere Pro and interpret the footage to rec. 709 and adjust the lumetri scopes to make it appear slightly more cinematic. Things like increasing vibrance, decreasing highlights, etc…. I produce content in my professional life and honestly, the thought of picking up a professional camera to produce a vlog would prevent me from doing it. Plus, no one bats an eye when I film with my phone. But, bring an actual camera out and everyone’s on high alert. 🚨 Thanks for coming to my TedTalk, lol.

Hey Zandra! 😘 Honestly, we felt quite safe everywhere we went. There are so many police in the shadier parts of Amsterdam so everything was quite orderly. There were definitely drug dealers all over the red light district but there didn’t seem to be any drama while we were there. The other cities we visited all seemed fine but we usually don’t stay out late when the “interesting” folks come out to play. Much love from Kimmy and me 👨❤️💋👨

LOL, Alfonz, that was me rolling my eyes at the loud dealers outside our air bnb at 10pm. Fortunately nothing felt dangerous from our point of view though. If I was walking alone at night or if I was a woman, I could imagine feeling anxious of some of the people. Overall though, if anyone bothers me, I just act crazier than they are and they leave me alone. Rocky’s travel hacks! Lol.
Sorry guys, but what you showed, and how you behaved, is exactly the tourism that Amsterdam can do without! It is clear that you know nothing about my country and my city, and you clearly didn't take the trouble beforehand to delve into the hugely important and world-changing history of Amsterdam. In fact, more than once, you walked straight passed it, for crying out loud! Case in point: you stopped in front of the West Indies House. This is where New Amsterdam, New York was created! The same with the oldest stock exchange in the world... Even the gay area you apparently missed while walking along the kitschy floating flower market. And as for all the shit and rubbish in the streets: this is to a great extend the result of badly behaving and consuming tourists, without any regard for the inhabitants, the proud citizens - burgers - of Amsterdam! We have opened up to the world for centuries, but now it is getting too much!
No worries, thank you for letting us know how you feel. It’s definitely true that we didn’t have time to research the areas we visited ahead of time as we were moving from city to city. Regardless of the trash situation we were very grateful to be in the city and met quite a few lovely people there. We were actually very respectful of our surroundings and cleaned up after ourselves (and others). We feel the people of Amsterdam have a lot to be proud of and it’s very clear they take pride in their city. Even though you didn’t appreciate our tone in the video, we still appreciate you watching and letting us know. Have a great week and enjoy your beautiful country ^_^

Your wacky take on things, your warm and loving relationship, the editing and special effects, all of it is so unique and just fun to watch. Rocky now that you guys have been a few places, how is the crime? I've read that those cities are getting bad, but when you guys walk around it looks pretty nice? Thanks for sharing the stickers ;o)
Hey Zandra! 😘 Honestly, we felt quite safe everywhere we went. There are so many police in the shadier parts of Amsterdam so everything was quite orderly. There were definitely drug dealers all over the red light district but there didn’t seem to be any drama while we were there. The other cities we visited all seemed fine but we usually don’t stay out late when the “interesting” folks come out to play.

LOL, Alfonz, that was me rolling my eyes at the loud dealers outside our air bnb at 10pm.
Fortunately nothing felt dangerous from our point of view though. If I was walking alone at night or if I was a woman, I could imagine feeling anxious of some of the people.
Overall though, if anyone bothers me, I just act crazier than they are and they leave me alone. Rocky’s travel hacks! Lol.

Sorry guys, but what you showed, and how you behaved, is exactly the tourism that Amsterdam can do without! It is clear that you know nothing about my country and my city, and you clearly didn't take the trouble beforehand to delve into the hugely important and world-changing history of Amsterdam. In fact, more than once, you walked straight passed it, for crying out loud! Case in point: you stopped in front of the West Indies House. This is where New Amsterdam, New York was created! The same with the oldest stock exchange in the world... Even the gay area you apparently missed while walking along the kitschy floating flower market. And as for all the shit and rubbish in the streets: this is to a great extend the result of badly behaving and consuming tourists, without any regard for the inhabitants, the proud citizens - burgers - of Amsterdam! We have opened up to the world for centuries, but now it is getting too much!
No worries, thank you for letting us know how you feel. It’s definitely true that we didn’t have time to research the areas we visited ahead of time as we were moving from city to city.
Regardless of the trash situation we were very grateful to be in the city and met quite a few lovely people there. We were actually very respectful of our surroundings and cleaned up after ourselves (and others).
We feel the people of Amsterdam have a lot to be proud of and it’s very clear they take pride in their city.
Even though you didn’t appreciate our tone in the video, we still appreciate you watching and letting us know.
