- Hey guys! Last weekend I visited Royal Decameron Club Caribbean all inclusive resort in Runaway Bay . My experience is definitely one to share as I've never been so disappointed in a resort. I do hope this video is helpful with your selection(s).

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend here to be honest. I like to see when businesses grow but I have to be honest.
They need a lot of improvements.

I was there a week ago and it was good. If you are a person who loves a little quiet, this is the place for you. Not much variety with the meals, but it was not bad. The sea was clean and calm. My room was bigger though.

I stayed there some years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food, entertainment and beach were great. Facilities were good.

I'm in the middle of my 4 nights stay and I'm loving it. Can't speak for anyone else but don't knock it until you try it. Not everyone will have the same experience.

That food looks a straight mess. Glad I watched this video.
My family of 4 visited that Resort for a weekend in Summer of 2019. It wasn't a bad experience at all, we stayed in a room similar to the one you got, room 11 to be exact, the room key wasn't working but we managed. The food wasn't bad, the jerk was where we went for lunch daily and they opened until late. Entertainment was great especially in the night. So so sorry the experience was disappointing for you.🤦♀️Hope they'll work on making things better.🤞

I live in Jamaica. But based on my knowledge, their aren't any restrictions. You most likely have to complete a form that speaks about your health though.

This resort is pretty much near livelihood, so it's easy to get a taxi and many other things.

I visited there and I agree with your review. Customer Service was very poor. There was no wow factor for me. The place is outdated, the bed I got was made out of concrete 😂. Sea was rough and dirty when I went there. You missed nothing at the Nyamings Restaurant trust me, buffet section was way better. First resort have been to and was served drinks in plastic disposable cups.
The live entertainment was great though and the pastries were everything. I think they are trying would go back ONLY if they do an upgrade to that place, it has so much potential.

Awesome video. And very accurate. Hotel food can never satisfy a Jamaican or St Lucian like me who can cook. We are too fussy. But for tourist this food would be a 10/10 because they don't know the real Caribbean stuff. The sea look awful

Do they have elevators?

On my stay there, I didn't see any elevators. There is a section of the property that has rooms with stairs leading to each story. Not sure if any elevators are on that side.

Bouy, it's hard but I had to be honest!
The grounds of the hotel and the beach is nice but that's it. The food is horrible and they are always running out of plates. The food is also very limited and not much variety. The hut we got had many holes in the ceiling and when I reported I was told to put towels over. I would never ever go back to that horrible place.

Everybody who I've spoken to has had negative things to say about the resort. I didn't know what I was getting into when I booked it.
I'm still happy I did go and get to share my experience. I hope they can improve where necessary.

@@lymingwithlatoya I meant it rained heavily a day I was there and I reported it to front desk that the ceiling was leaking badly and I was told they will handle it. I went back to the room and a housekeeper came and gave me two towels and told me to put them on the floor from the leaking roof.

Im so used to the reviews being upbeat , this place must have been trash . Who asks a guest why and how about a towel. I crossed them off my list permanently. Cant do my girl like that. Ugh 😑 atleast we got a great video out of the stay.
