There's a reason why that guy had all those used bikes for so long... THEY'RE OVERPRICED!!!
You aren't kidding what a doush
Prices comes downs when the serious customer comes in
Nothing is overpriced just you have to kno the correct price coz there are ton of window shopper around
Some dealers leave a room for you to bargain. But sometimes the room is just too big....
@@nazveel If your business plan is to hold onto inventory for 6+ months hoping the 'serious customer' comes in, you won't have business for long.
@@nazveel Impulse buyers are just as important to a business as a "serious buyer" as you put it. When you have a dealership its important to move the inventory so you can get some newer stuff. Waiting for a "serious buyer" and not actually "selling" is just a cop out for someone who cant close. That being said, this guy at this dealership is dreaming and is not realistic at all, especially if you are liquidating your inventory.
"Some of those bike shave been on the wall for 20 years... So they definitely run". That one had me cracking up pretty good. Thanks for that. On a side note, I really hate people that offer you a deal, then when you get there tell you they already sold it. What a tool.
After being medically retired from the military I had to sell my bike due to financial reasons. I miss my bike so much! I had a 1999 Low Rider Harley Davidson that was given to me by my brother. I took care of it and upgraded many parts. I miss riding. I’ve taken a couple trips with my brother back in Arizona. I rented a Harley. It was awesome! It helps my PTSD! One day I’ll have another bike! Thanks for the videos it makes me feel good!
Is there a way we can set up a fundraiser to get you a bike?? You deserve one. thank you for your service
Hoping for a free ride hey
U still alive?
did you get another bike
He asked a dealer to buy his used inventory and then thought he would sell everything at retail? That would've frustrated the hell out of me.
Why?
@@leerobinson4885 can't tell if you're serious, but the point is if he buys at retail, how can he sell for a profit
@@dzoinc1555 sorry I misunderstood your first comment I thought you were complaining that he was going to profit
@@dzoinc1555 I might be buying from a retail location, but I’m a wholesaler so they sell it to me at wholesale. The difference between selling to me vs the public is I buy with no expectations for strings attached
@@BikesandBeards isn't that what I said 2 years ago? You, a dealer, is buying from another dealer, who's offering you retail prices. It made no sense. The seller should've known better.
Man that guy was trying to sell 25 year old bikes like they’re brand new😂
Some are collector bikes that will go up in value but yes he's trying to get retail plus on some everyday nothing special bikes
Value of old bikes like going higher in value is only what we say here what does the idiot want to give for it.
No man has ever loaded anything onto a trailer, truck or van without saying “that ain’t goin nowhere”. The last time I said that though it went somewhere after the first turn.

Ya the first time I used my motorcycle hitch carrier the bike went somewhere.

Yeah he came off very annoyed to me
prob salty hes about to die and this young dude walks in with a shit ton of cash. His ego wont let him sell them for a good price. Its a shame he'll prob die with all of those bikes still in the shop with absurd prices.
That's why he going out of business.
Seems like the old dude wasted Sean's time I'd be way ruder than he was too me sell everything on him without a simple call😮
He wasn't a bike seller, he's a collector who puts ridiculous prices on his collection so no one would buy them.
Well who woulf want to waste money on these overpriced bikes?
So a hoarder?
no, a collector with a pissed off wife
Yup, right on point.
Totally agree jeff

You didn't get click baited, he said "how I bought every single USED "USED" bike" and the thumbnail said I will take all the bikes. Meaning of you read the title you would see he doesn't mean the entire store only a certain catagory from the dealership. I hate when people try and claim something is click bait when it's clearly not.
I'm pretty sure he didn't buy up all the used bikes from that showroom. But nonetheless, I was waiting for my Chinese food to be done so I needed something to watch 😂

I've the same exact Stryker all blacked out and man is it a great bike that's flawless, SUPER fast and beautiful with only 12,500 miles on it. I definitely recommend them to anyone that wants 1 and that Stryker alone is a $7,000 bike.
you have more patience than i do lol . I would have just walked out after he said he sold everything on you , after calling you all the way down there . Very shady business ethics
Yeah, I thought it could have been a manipulating strat to make him feel like he has to compete with someone else's deal. And to make him feel like he had to impulsively buy rather than think it out because it would have been a missed opportunity.
Though I have no familiarity with bikes. Just based on his behavior I was fishy about it all.
I gotta side with the old man, he apparently got $18 when the video guy offered $13. Plus a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush lol
Also another way of looking at it, there is an old saying 1 bird in the hand is better than two in the Bush
Yeah its like this old saying I heard somewhere "a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush"
although he presold the bikes to you there is a saying in Australia that goes, " a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush"
Sean, I appreciate the way you do business and I know that there are plenty of opportunities to take shortcuts thinking that doing so would make you more money. After 30 years of selling high end transportation equip, I can say that you will do much better because of the person you serve. Thanks for your great example.
The camera panning fast made me feel ill
Yeah we’re going to fix that
Would buy a bike from this guy any time. What an honest, decent dude. Problem is, most dealers I deal with are worthless....terrible, some of the worst sales/customer service experiences I've ever had. And yes, almost every dealer I've ever dealt with.....bottom feeders. Dealers need to get their shit together but they never will.
I would love to have that Nighthawk 650. I owned one of those from the age of 15 to 22 and put 52k miles on it when I wasn't riding my Spoke. That little 650 brought me back form Virginia Beach Virginia to Hollendsburg Indiana in January 87 after being discharged from the Navy, one of the coldest winters to date all across the east and central US. Honestly it was stupid and could have very well killed me but I made it without frostbite sadly though the soles of my new boots were worn through from dragging them on the interstate to generate heat from friction trying to keep my feet from freezing. Anyway that's a great little bike that was kind of a sleeper as a 650 pushing 81hp from the factory with a 6 speed gear box...
Love those old Nighthawk 650's. I had one when I was 16. Good times.
They are a popular bike
I never should have sold my Nighthawk 800s. Was so fun and easy to maintain.
My last bike was a Nighthawk 750 that was my dad's after he passed. It was low mileage and rode like new. I wish that I would have kept it.
Yeah man the shape is classic and simple, would love to own one.

The guy who wants $6200 for that 1993 Goldwing will be wanting forever... I bought a great 2000 Goldwing 1500SE for $3,000 that was a one owner bike with every nut and bolt repair record done by dealerships since new, and a very, very low mileage 2002 Goldwing 1800 for $4800. Both bikes are spotlessly clean without a single chip on them! I live in California where everything is expensive! Both bikes are in my garage waiting for spring (I live near Mt Lassen National Park where it snows in the winter). I can buy 1500 Goldwings for under $3000 all day long out here in Communist expense-landia!
That guy that wants 6000$ for his old gold wing must be from where I live. Everyone thinks here their 15 year old clapped out 125 2 stroke MX bike is worth 2500$

That's awesome great content. I Loved that shadow. I used to have a shadow a long time ago.
This is exactly why I watch these videos, it just puts a nice exclamation point on why never buy used vehicles from used vehicles dealerships. You'll over pay thousands every time.
That's why you check KBB. The prices they want are not the prices they're worth. If you know what they're worth, you barter. You should never leave a dealership paying anything over -10% KBB value. Every bike they get, they buy at trade-in value or dirt cheap auction price.
Many private sellers want more than their bike is worth too, especially bikes they've customized, because they believe their handlebar cell phone holder, aftermarket dash panel, saddle seat and decals gives their bike a higher value.
Not really, at the end of the day its the same as buying anything second hand. You have to learn how to barter, and ofcause know what you're talking about
Clickbait bullshit.
Absolutely right WPP. I've seen a number of these vids from this guy now & I don't know why the hell he puts them up. The middle man, cutting in between another dealer and his customer base and running up prices for yours... He screwed his customer base by selling to you cheaper than he was willing to sell to his loyal customers (he could have marked down his prices above what you gave him and moved it all very quickly) and you screwed yours by moving a bike from another stealership and then more than doubling the price for the convenience of your customers.
Who else hates dealers of all stripes?
L Parker me
and you are the same obnoxious customer that wants every cost of ownership cover by the dealer for the lifetime of the car or bike. Wholesale exists because if one of those bikes break in half on the way home, beardsly now owns both pieces. To a dealer, that is worth a steep discount.
@@superfly83 Actually I'm the kind of customer that picks up a bike and never sees the dealer again unless it is to buy a part or some such, so I really really don't appreciate having to pay for customers/dealers like you who feel the need to eat cavier and drink Cristal at my expense...
And if he cannot tell and the dealer cannot tell that a bike is fixin to break in half then he better lay off said Cristal...
