I know, that's pretty spectacular. I'm very happy for him. He was bad off. However that initial first day off happened, I hope he remembers and thanks anyone that might've helped. Most people would've written him off as a lost cause. That would've been a mistake.

When Bill was on JRE and he put his feet up on the desk, I realized he thinks he's hotter shit than he is. The mentality of not being able to skip weed for one episode is another display of him thinking he's cooler than he is. He would have been lucky to have Steve-O and he was lucky to be on JRE.
Bill lives in an ivory tower, and he cannot see beyond his own personal experience. He seems to think that his own world view is the only valid world view, and I believe that is because he doesn't have the mental capability to view the world outside of his own lived experience. So, in my opinion, he may think that he's hot to trot, but I think that stems from his inability to imagine that someone else might be having a different experience in life. Bill is extremely shallow.

I don't smoke weed regularly, but I'm not against others doing it unless it's harming people who are underage or people who don't want to ingest it against their will. If you don't like marijuana smoke don't be around people that you know are going to smoke it. U agree with Steve O but I'd personally would rather not be around drinkers because weed doesn't trigger me, alcohol does. It's different for everyone who is addicted.
With Steve-O it's basically being around damn near anything will trigger his urge. It's really not that hard to not smoke around your sober friend, though, so I don't get why it's such a crutch for Bill to not be able to do so for his own business. His choice, of course, but it just seems a bit obtuse. I mean.... you can't eat an edible if the point is "asking high questions"?
It's California bullshit. If someone lit a cigarette indoors they'd get furious and probably call the cops, but they want to be able to smoke pot everywhere all the time. They'll say "that's different, this is good for you." Like the story about the California moms who found a vape in their kid's room and were all "god I hope It's thc and not nicotine!"

True, I am a recovering alcoholic with 22 Years. I can't get high on second hand beer so being around drinking doesn't bother me, but if I smoked a joint. Or got high on second hand weed..it may lower my inhibitions enough to pick up that first drink. Not worth the risk. I love being clear headed. I think Steve O has enough strong recovery; he realizes this too. Congrats on your recovery. What ever works as long as it's no denial.

I love Club Random. It's so unintentionally funny. Bill getting drunker and higher while interrogating his guest and pontificating about stuff, is a sight to see. It is a deal breaker to ask him not to smoke. It's crucial to the uncomfortable vibe of the show.
The Club Random episode with John Mellencamp is a must see. It’s like an Odd Couple sitcom.
I like the show too, I dont think he is as smart as he pretends to be, his other show has tons of writers so he comes off as somewhat of a political expert, but I think he just knows a lot about what he is told and is too bias to be someone people look at for the truth, but Besides that I do like him as a regular person, and his podcast is very entertaining when it’s not about politics, One of my favorite episodes is Fred durst and it’s the most nonsense episode but it’s lol funny at some points. Bill spits out his drink at one point laughing because Fred durst has funny personality.. also the Richard dreyfuss episode has to be the unintentionally funny podcast episode all time just cause how dreyfuss was sitting in the chair

Steve-O when he was about 10 months sober went on some talk show, which I cannot recall. The host mentioned his sobriety and the audience clapped. I remember vividly Stevo-O's body language when the clapped, he was humble, and he might have very well said "I have a long way to go" or something along those lines. His continued sobriety even after 16 years is very much the same, he's humbled in many respects but still holds that dear to his heart.
I am so glad to see Bam have about 10 months; I am happy for him it's a great step! I do not see the humility or self-accountability in a lot of his interviews sadly. I really do hope he can find some self-peace. It is tough to watch Bam blame everyone else for all of his self-created problems from his alcoholism. None the less, folks just like him have torn down those walls and stayed sober through it. I am hoping that's the case!

Then there's Roseanne, James Woods, Mel Gibson, possibly Mark Wahlberg and Jim Caviezel. That's not a bad start
