Being a shy child was actually a blessing. Even as a 5 year old I hated being away from my parents when we weren't in the house, and I was deathly afraid of strangers and wouldn't ever agree to do anything with them, even before I understood that doing things with strangers is bad.

Glad to hear that the child in the first story ended up safe, and that they caught the abductor. The other 2 stories definitely scared me. Having your home broken into has got to be one of the scariest experiences. Hope they catch/caught those criminals eventually
I have my own personal story:
This was about 2 years ago and I’m still traumatized from it. So I was having a big sleepover with at least 6 of my friends, and it wasn’t at my house. His parents were there for sure they wouldn’t leave us alone at home. So we were yelling, eating, and just genuinely having a good time. But until about 2:00 AM. My friends parents were asleep so it was the 7 of us who were still awake. We were not tired at all, all the video games and soda kept us awake. But then, we hear a noise from outside. We erupt in immediate silence. I whispered “What the f*** is that noise…?” One of my friends replied, “I think that’s an ice cream truck.” And we ALL heard about all the scary ice cream truck stories about abduction and stuff. So we locked all the windows and doors and alerted my friends parents. So we were upstairs now in my parents room. We abandoned the basement and started calling all of our moms. My mom told me to stay calm and hide I was so chilled in the spine I started bursting in tears. I screamed “I DON’T WANNA GET KIDNAPPED!!!” Everyone told me to shhh and I listened. The ice cream truck music got louder and louder to the point where it was deafening. I looked out the window and I remembered exactly what it looked like. It was a tattered up and rusted Super Duty pickup truck towing some sort of van trailer looking thing that had pictures of ice cream stamped all over it. There was NO WAY this guy was legit. We hid for about 30 minutes until we heard and EXTREMLY loud banging on one of the windows. We made not a SOUND. Me and some of my friends hid under the bed while some of the others hid in the closet. His parents stayed out in case he came in here. They both had weapons, baseball bats. They were gonna knock him out if he came in somehow. And then a few minutes later, the truck started and left the house. We called 911 right after and alerted them of the attempted kidnapping. They found the truck. And the three creepiest men as well. Inside the trailer was nothing but mold, ropes, and weapons. Mostly machetes. I am never going to an ice cream truck again for the rest of my life. From now on it’s store bought ice cream and Carvel and Friendly’s.

I didn't realize this was a thing! When I was around 12 I remember hearing the ice cream man outside around 1am and so I peaked outside and saw a black SUV parked outside my house along the street. When I little, my father told me about a horror movie where the ice cream guy had a guillotine window that would cut off your hand when you reached for your ice cream. So I learned early on never to go to the ice cream truck, and I only ever got an ice cream handed to me by another kid’s parent from the neighborhood if we were all out there when he came by. Looking back, he said a lot of stuff like that about things that could be dangerous and that always made me a realistic, caution person.scared the crap out of me, but for good reason! Thanks dad. 🥰

For months if not years a fucking pedo worked in an ice cream truck, that is so disturbing, just waiting to have the chance to snatch a kid?? I recently had my own scary experience with an ice cream man that watched me grow up since middle school and would give me free ice-cream every once in a while. I became close with him and saw him like an uncle but he ruined that. In January, I told him (an old man some age over 55) that I was finally leaving for college so I wouldn't see him anymore and he asked for my number to check up on me every once in a while and I was unsure at first but felt like he was trustworthy enough and had no bad intentions so I gave him my number and he never actually gave me a call until the beginning of may when I came back home. The first time he saw me again, he asked me if I had a boyfriend and he was like "that's good, you don't need one." And I was a bit weirded out but put it off because I'm a very avoidant person and didn't want to make say anything cuz I felt that no one else would think anything of it too. So I didn't come out again till like a week later on a Saturday and things got worse. He told me that my weight gain looked good on me and that he wished he was my age because he would have "taken" me and married me" and I did not know how else to respond but say thanks nervously. He made me really uncomfortable and I went in as quickly as I could. The next morning, I woke up to a call and it was him but I, for some reason, did not want to be rude so I responded and he mentioned the same things as the previous day. I really wanted to get out of that situation without making a scene so I told him that I had to go and he told me "Kisses" and I just said bye and hung up. I instantly blocked his number and was so scared, and utterly uncomfortable and felt dumb with myself for letting the situation get to that point. I refuse to go out any more and if I am outside and I hear the tune, I RUN inside. I literally book it. I haven't told any family (they know he loves me but they only know it in an friendly way) because the whole situation just makes me so, so, soooo uncomfortable. I have let in a couple friends though just so someone knows in case anything ever happens to me.
I rewatched this video and realized that the first truck looks so similar to that of the old man:((
I would honestly tell your parents. Seriously.
Sometimes older people might say things to younger people like "If I was younger, I'd marry you" without meaning anything by it, not realizing how it might come off, but calling you up to tell you he finds you attractive is NOT OKAY. Even if you're technically "legal" now, that is still completely inappropriate and I would definitely want to know if something like that was happening to one of my kids!!!
Even if your parents lecture you about giving him your number or whatever, take the lecture. Avoiding a lecture or feeling stupid for a little while is NOT a good trade off to your safety!
Letting your parents know would alert them to the potential danger when he comes around and they'd be in a better place to protect you if something happens. Especially since they know you're on friendly terms with him. Now their guard is down and they might not notice red flags they'd have picked up on if he was a complete stranger or if they knew about his inappropriate behavior. Your friends knowing is better than no one knowing, but unless they live on your street that's not going to help you much the next time he comes around.
As a parent, I would definitely want to know about this BEFORE something happens and I am still able to prevent the worst, not find out about it afterwards from a friend as part of a police investigation! TELL THEM. And stay safe!
Like a good neighbor, Margie is there 😔💅
Hahahaha I can’t stop laughing

Yes sirrrrrrrr
The worst part is, if the ice cream man takes you when you’re home alone, whose gonna think to check out the ice cream man when you’re missing? More than likely they’ll check friends, family and neighbors. I highly doubt anyone is gonna say “well the ice cream man came down the street at 1pm.” And even if they did, whose gonna really check in detail about the ice cream man!! It’s hidden in plain site....

I pray every night for all the "Margies" out there and the organizations whose sole purpose is rescuing victims of trafficking. i have one for ya. when i was about 10 years old, i was at the grocery store with my dad and as we were coming out we decided we wanted to rent a redbox movie. we were looking through the movies and all of a sudden we heard screaming coming from behind us. it sounded distant but also very close. we turned around and there was an ice cream truck parked in the parking lot. we realized that’s where the screaming was coming from because it was rapidly moving back and forth. my dad ran as fast as he could up to the truck and started fighting the guy. i was little so i just kind of stood there in fear and didn’t know what was really happening. then i saw a woman with no shirt on run out of the ice cream truck and into the grocery store.

The first story is just another reason for parents to tell their kids about stranger danger
The last story - don’t do drugs kids
It’s something i say to this day . Children are so innocent and can Be friendly which is sweet but they need to know early on the scary truth. When I was in elementary school my mom and brother would pretend to be a stranger knock on the door and asked me to let them in(it was with a wardrobe door but still it taught me early on
Better to teach them discernment. If you teach kids that strangers = danger, it could end up backfiring horribly, because the truth is, the vast majority of child kidnappings are committed by people whom the child knows and trusts, and a lot of times it's strangers who end up rescuing them.

It's good having a neighbor that looks out for you
Moral of the story: NEVER tell a stranger your home alone
NEVER
*you're
I'm home alone
I wonder which comment came first.
Considering the "Bernard" story, never tell even someone you consider a friend you're home alone! (Let's face it, little Jimmy would not have considered Bernard to be one of the strangers his parents (hopefully!) warned him about.)
Which is what makes that particular story so scary. How many kids have a grown up "friend" that they wouldn't consider a stranger and that their parents don't even realize they have???
Second moral: Parents, remind your kids that even grown ups who seem nice and act like your friend can be potentially dangerous!
The most disturbing ice cream story: I can never get triple chocolate.
so sad
I can't choose a flavor other than cookies n cream cuz it tastes so good is my sad story

@@charliechaplin852 my sad story is that my local ice cream vans don't sell triple chocolate or scoops (BTW I live in London) , they only sell stick ice creams or normal cones with cream 😭 why is the world like this... I just want to experience yumminess...
First story gives a whole new meaning to those "Mind That Child" messages on the back of iceream vans
I love these stories ❤❤❤
This guy can make a trip to McDonalds sound scary
I know right
Most trips to McDonald's ARE scary. LOL. 🤡

"We hopped in the van...and headed to the place called Mcdonalds...when BOOM...when slowly pulled into the driveway...when suddenly...a mysterious stranger said 'Welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order"...I was terrified and shivering in fear as my father said 'I'll take to Big Macs'...to this day, that was the scariest experience of my life" Just imagine all that in the Mr. Nightmare voice.

It's crazy how people use what is supposed to be innocent things to scare the living hell out of people, or commit the most obscene crimes. Ice cream trucks, circus clowns, even dolls. We see all these movies, even paranormal ones about innocent things like childrens toys and clowns turned into maddening monsters out to haunt you. Their purpose is to gain trust before quickly taking advantage of it and doing something crazy or evil. That's why, no matter what, we should always be skeptical of people. Even the ones that you think you trust. You'd never know what may be planning to haunt you.
One of the few CZcams channels that actually tries to be scary and succeeds
First story: ok seriously what kind of psycho parents leave their 7-year-old home *alone*? O.o
I mean my parents left me at home a lot. To the point where I got used to it. My Asian parents worked all the time but thank god I knew better and didn’t open the door unless they told me that at a certain time someone would either drop off a package or what not. My neighbors knew each other since they all moved in when these houses were first built and I knew I could go to their house whenever I needed some help. But ya I do admit it’s scary for a child to be left at home alone like that. Sometimes my cousins would watch me but I never went outside the house without adult supervision
I've been left alone for a 3-5 minutes at the most when I was 7
Poor parents who need to work to support their family.
i used to but i wasnt stupid enough to do these things in fact i was scarred and aware if i heard a noise i shit my pants lmao
My parents... I turned out ok.
Guy in the second is an idiot for going outside; especially alone, unarmed, and barefoot.
Ikr
No he's not, by going outside he realized that the door was open and the driver wasn't there which caused him to then realize he could be lurking in his house, which he was
Well, I still hold to the unarmed and barefoot part of this since he couldn't help being alone. Atleast put on some shoes and snag a knife from the kitchen if that's all you got
Edit: Yeah, it is still dumb to go outside. What if there was more than one person? What if their goal was to get him outside? What if they were waiting to ambush him the moment he stepped out? There are a hundred more what ifs, and he didn't make even a small attempt to be safe when approaching the van. The guy didn't even bother with shoes
Accu well, he should have at least call the police. He literally got mad at the cops for not getting there as fast even though if he called them earlier then they would have been there earlier
