*Hi guys, thanks for watching this video, I hope you find it helpful. *Digital Basic Bodice Block is now available on the website www.donlarrie.com/shop/
    From UK size 4-20/US 0-16*.
If you are using the side dart which was placed on the front bodice, the amount of dart intake which is 1inch will be added back to the hemline at the side seam* Note that anytime you use dart, the amount needs to be added back.

In which case you should show in the pattern how to add the one in to the hemline because this is a pattern with side darts. Otherwise after sewing in the side darts, the back and front dont match. It happened to me already.

For a fitted top of any kind, it will show as little excess fabric. For a loose top, it really won't matter. Also, if you have small bust, you don't need a lot of shaping. But for big bust people, it gives a nice shape. I hope this helps

Thanks for the video I really liked it .... But I have a question . .. we divided the side of the front to get our bust dart and we took one inch and use it for the bust dart wouldn't it affect the side back when stiching

Your tutorial was good but once u insert the bust dart on the front bodice it gets shorter so a 1 inch should be added to the hem in ordered for the front and back to match while sewing

You are right, any inch removed for dart needs to be replaced. One of my princess dart video explained that. Thank you 😍
