I had this figure when it 1st released then sadly sold it on but ill be buying it again next week as its just a fantastic figure,i know theres more wolverine figures coming but i just love that figure so much and looks excellent with the jackman head on it and ive got the legacy deadpool so its a no brainer👍😎@DisplayingModelBehaviour
I really do wish the mafex tiger stripe wolvie had the same claws as the brown suit one they made. But even so i think legends did capture wolvie better imo, with him being a short stoky dude, with big arms and leg muscles. Also i don't like how they just painted the stripes on the mafex one blue when even in the box art it shows if being black with blue highlights due to shading. In my opinion, i really feel legends have nailed the body for wolvie, just wish the articulation was modern but still i really prefer the short stocky with the big muscles on the legends one😅😅(just my opinion)
Yeah me too I still feel that one had better arms than the new one. The new I really can't get past the fur on that hands it just looks odd to me. That's not how hair looks😅
The old toybiz wave 3 wolverine imo looks so awesome with the head. Body and other parts are not that good but the face on that is so beautiful with all the details in it. The toybiz x-jet one had a great face too.
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour you reckon? Sometimes, yes 100% but others it’s definitely blue, check out wolverine vs ghost rider cover for example, definitely blue. I think you can make the distinction between colour and shading based on the which is the primary colour … I don’t know. Still an awesome figure and the reissue has a slightly darker tone. My only gripe (but I’ll live) is the claws being straight rather than a bit curved
A few Wolverine figures I still want are Phoenix Wolverine, Albert and Elsie Dee, Hellverine, Venomized Wolverine, Earth X Wolverine, Werewolf Wolverine, and a bezerker rage Wolverine w battle wounds showing his adamantium skeleton!! So far the best Wolverine figure is Mafex Brown suit Wolverine
What? Jim Lee's wolverine outfit has the blue stripes on the sides. Under wear was also the same shade of blue as the shoulders and everywhere else. Mafex is accurate.
Not really no , Lee's had blue shading on black. It's a misinterpretation or an adaptation of his costume later in the 90s like how their jean grey figure isn't an adaptation of jim lees art , it's of the later depiction of her by andy kubert. The blue on her thighs and the headsculpts are dead giveaways

I like the ML 2018 Apocalypse wave wolverine the best with the after market real metal claws on it.

On the MAFEX one, there is source material with the blue stripes too so it is not inaccurate in any way, it's just personal preference I think.
I think any time the side stripes look blue in the comics it’s just their way of demonstrating shadow and shading like on Spider-Man’s black costume.
