Netarhat is 165kms from Ranchi. There are Two routes which you can take. 1st via Bero - Lohardaga and 2nd Via Chanho - Lohardaga. Both roads are well built and any road can be chosen to reach Netarhat. Netarhat is also known as queens of the hills and so Climb up To Netarhat takes 22kms of long twisty Valley road which is very mesmerizing and beautiful. Jharkhand has many places of Tourism but Netarhat is definitely best to start with.
Netarhat is known for its sunrises and sunsets. It is located within forests which have varied flora and fauna.

It is a plateau covered with thick forest. Located in the Pat region of Chota Nagpur Plateau, Netarhat plateau is about 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 2.5 miles (4.0 km) broad. It consists of crystalline rocks and has a summit capped with sandstone trap or laterite. Region of Netarhat is covered with Pine and Pear trees who are planted by Forest Department and forests mostly have Sal, Kendu, Mahua and Eucalyptus. The highest point is 3,696 feet (1,127 m)
