This movie's story was good it was a tragic love story that many people didn't understood it...The big reason can be because srk's om shanti om was released the same time saawariya got released..om shanti om's story was more easy to understand for people plus the glamour level shown in that movie was much higher than compare to saawariya..both movie's story were good and different, that saawariya was a heart breaking tragic love story where om shanti om was full of suspense , horror , glamour etc..And I also realized that saawariya was much better after 13 years .

Same with me as well. I was in my 8th when this movie released, I've been watching lots of movies since my childhood. Watched Raj kapoor, Jitendra, Devanand, Rajesh Khanna. So I was pretty mature when I watched this movie
I just loved everything about the movie, I don't know being a male why we start seeing ourselves in male lead character of the film. Sonam though is much of model and fashion oriented wasn't given a good exposure for her acting skills apart from the looks that SLB tactfully utilised her for what she is. She looked beautiful ❤️
About the movie it was everything for me, I loved the songs, Ranabir's character, shoot location sets, story telling, dialogues ❤️❤️
Sonam never looked this beautiful again after this movie.
P.S: please stop with your suggestions that i should watch her in aisha or ranjhana or whatever, you may be a sonam fan i am not, the point is she may have looked beautiful in other movies but she looked ethereal here.

After listening to this emotional song, I started crying,just remembering my past when I was 6 years old back in 2008 going to Ooty listening to this song with my family and my beloved aunt with her family! My aunt used to be a very kind hearted beautiful woman ,just like Sonam Kapoor and she was married to someone who looked like Ranbir Kapoor! But she passed away after 5 years , oh Mausi I miss you ! Whenever I listen to this song ,my tears come just because it was your favourite song!
The scenery is so magical and very artistic! I have read the story of Arabian nights when I was a kid. This movie is like a real depiction of that story. The places, the costume, the actors (especially Sonal kapoor), the atmosphere, the lights and the music (It floats you somewhere in a dream place) are all simply amazing work.
This movie reminds me of Guzaarish! Both have a magical touch from the distant past and were captivating yet sadly very unappreciated.
