Thank you for this! This is the best guide to cloning clothes I have ever seen! I’m gonna buy a tracing wheel ASAP. My favourite T-shirt is over ten years old and is starting to look kinda gross 😬
This is GREAT! I had bought a sheet from a second-hand store that is all cotton and has a fabulous design and I have a muumuu I wanted to use as a pattern! Such perfect timing! I was wondering though. I have tshirt that I like to wear but the sleeves are too short for me to wear comfortably without a jacket of some sort. Can I just add length to the arm? Would it look weird? Do I need to add width? Can I use a different shirt for the length of the arms but add to the body that is my favorite?
orleana plytas yes, when you copy out the sleeve on paper, extend the length. Also, since you’re not 100% sure, cut out a longer length to start with just in case you want to shorten it.
To add to my last comment. WIth a tshirt could I just add length to the base for a tshirt dress? Or are there more dimensions for the base I need to be aware of?
Who else have been living in T-shirt’s since the lockdown?
This is great, I have a favourite dress which is on its last legs so I might try and clone it! Thanks Juliet for sharing xxx
You are too much, keep it up and thanks for sharing.

orleana plytas please consider your hip measurement. If your hips aren’t so wide, then lengthening won’t be a problem.
@@JulietUzor_ Good point! Thanks!
