When I first saw this movie, I was a 11 years old kid. The tower in this movie left a huge impression on me. I didn't know it back then. But throughout my childhood, I have many dreams where I see this tower, from inside and afar. In my dream, this tower is twice as big, the garden around this tower is about 5 times as big. I still remember the scenery and the feeling when I see it in my dream very well today (28 years old now).

@GrimmAndersenGallandJacobs it looks like a monstrance. it’s used to hold the eucharist (wafer catholics believe is transformed into the body of christ after the priest chants some special words) during eucharistic adoration. basically she was admiring her own reflection in the most uber holy item imaginable
