  • Fixing A Slip Clutch and Getting The Tiller Ready for Spring time! The ground isn't quite warm enough for anything but potatoes but we're gonna get her going. My tines on the tiller won't till and when I look at my discs on the slip clutch they are gone. I order some new ones from the parts store, install them, and test it out.

Things I can relate to - "Wrench falls into the bucket of oil"
I really like how you went out of your way to get a rock stuck in the tiller to show the operation of the slip clutch. A++ CZcamsr
Now, for the reason I'm here. Can I borrow your tiller?

Boy you have some big kahoonies, messing around with a PTO while the tractor is running.
The slip clutch should have a measurement from the plate to the end of the spring, and they should all be the same, some are 1.260" but yours is probably different. Check with the manufacture, and replace the zerks, they are they for a reason, or you'll be replacing U joints, hope you stay safe and keep your arms. Did like the video you made of how it goes together.
