Curiosity got the better of me so I looked this up: Puka is the Hawaiian word for “hole”, specifically meaning any shell or bit of shell with a naturally occurring hole (other than the aperture) can be considered a puka. The small white shells that are associated with the name puka shells are normally remnants of top snails. Now we know! Love your unboxings! Bead on 📿
