At Gate 17 in Terminal A, there's an American Flag that flies over it. The reason for that, it's the gate United Airlines Flight 93 departed from on September 11, 2001. The American Flag honors the victims of United 93 and 9/11.

This terminal an opened in 2023 though - was it one of the other terminals?

@@multimediadelivery The original Terminal A opened in 1973. 50 years before 2023. In the original Terminal A, that's where United Airlines Flight 93 departed from on 9/11/2001. While the original was demolished for the new Terminal A, the jetway for Gate A17 has been preserved.

It seems like a nice terminal. However, I find it incredibly inconvenient that there is no United club or AirTrain station attached to the terminal and that you have to take a shuttle or a long walk to get to AirTrain.
