This insightful, heart warming, and sometimes funny interview took place at the historic Ryman Auditorium where Barbara shares memories of her 38 year career. I met Barbara and Irlene Mandrell years ago in Johnson City, TN. They were so lovely and approachable and you could see and feel they loved and appreciated their fans. I remember their variety show then and will never forget meeting them. It was as special as when I met Dolly Parton.

One of the best entertainers, humble and a music genius. She enjoys life and a favorite of mine. Still listen to her music. She gets it on how to be a true performer. I miss her. Glad she is able to enjoy her life with her family after giving us fans so much of earlier years. She gave us so much. I still listen to her albums and watch her on old shows or concerts. A good role model and her faith is so strong. So needed in this industry. What a life she has had. Wow! The people she was able to befriend and work with.

What an incredible artist!! I can't think of anyone with more talent, nor can I believe that up until a few days ago, I'd never heard of her! (I don't live in the States, but was certainly raised on country music)
