They may be, but that OP is also a simp. Trying to look good to a single mom which me made clear many times. To want to call and go out the way, telling stuff about himself. Need to call her? Just freaking block her. Kind of a creep probably. Still sucks for all the fear he lived in of course, but dont be weird selling stuff. Dont contact women about anything else, dont have conversations, just a buyer and seller. That's it.

I don’t really believe that story, OP says they’re scared because they don’t know anything about the scammer but the scammer gave them two different addresses. I feel like it was written to make the readers give OP karma by thinking they’re this great person.

The first story: I have friends and relatives that own small businesses, and starting out, they utilized Facebook marketplace. They ALL said they would often field inquiries from “mothers of sick kids”, it’s like a common ruse for scam artists. Another scam (and potentially dangerous one) to watch out for is having a buyer agree to buying what you’re selling at your asking price, and the day you set up to meet, they call right before the meeting saying their car broke down and ask you to meet somewhere else, mostly in a desolate area.
The gerbil lady story was just SAAADDDDD💔😭😢Altho at least it had a somewhat happier ending.....LOVE YOU LETS READ‼🌟🌟

Arguments happen and unfortunately boyfriends will come and go, as bad as that sounds. You cant let life ever get you down. Little things happen and you just have to keep going. Arguing isn't a sign of a strong relationship so maybe it's a sign and a positive. You must see the good in everything you can of life will make you miserable. Take it from an older person.

The scariest story I have is I was meeting up with someone at CVS and he kept saying that he is almost there. Then he said he's about to pull in the parking lot. I texted him and said that I didn't see him and asked what he drove. The messages stopped and I never heard from him again.
I had that happen to me too with a guy who said he was going to pay me back the money he owed me.
The coffee maker story is one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever heard 🤮 if that happened to me I would have thrown my entire stomach up

I always meet up with people in a public place so that they will at least be captured on camera if something happens. Never go to someone's house or let them come to yours.

I had a old man walk up to me while am getting gas for my truck. He told me take a other way home. At first am like weird out. But am glad glad I listened I took a different route. 80 car pill up and if I would took my regular whale I would have been in the middle of it..

Story 4, hearing someone else who knows and likes the band Cannibal Corpse makes me happy. I grew up listening to them bc they’re my dad’s favourite band. And fun fact, the first time I saw Cannibal Corpse live I dislocated my right shoulder in the mosh pit. I was literally 10 years old😀
Saw them recently in concert and it was amazing! I had a broken ankle and I still went with my crutches and enjoyed it! George Fisher is a wonderful person!

I was on Facebook marketplace looking for a apartment and I found one a few days ago. Today, I remembered that I needed to fill out the application before it gets rented out because it was getting popular. Then I got this notification. 😳😳
THESE are the stories that are phenomenally told with your voice - well written with proper grammar.
Bad grammar, off cadence, bad diction, awful syntax, no subject/verb agreement, wrong adjectives, lack of research and DEFENSIVENESS of those qualities is rife on youtube, the internet and in life in general. Literacy is in short supply these days.
And I agree with you. It's nice to that this narrator is a cut above the majority. It makes listening more pleasant as it doesn't hurt the ears, mind and psyche.

PSA *some* McDonald coffee machines have roaches and flies that they don’t bother to remove while making you coffee as well as their manual soda machines. The automated ones used for self serve are closer to clean 😊

I got a car for 1200. The guy lived in the creepiest backwoods but he was chill and didnt even count the money. Not everyone is aweful but do be causious. I brought my dad with me.

I took pictures of literally everything (his plates, his house, his face) and recorded going up there and sent clips to my friends as we pulled up. It wasnt too far out of town but it was foggy af and looked like it shouldve been. My dads pretty experienced with fb market so i trusted his judgement on whose offer to accept
