This is the best 2012 BMW 6 - series review on CZcams. All the other reviews I've seen in a nutshell: "OMG, It's boring!" "MEH, it's just a grand tourer!" "OMG, not a fun a the M3!" "OMG, I was expecting this to be a sports car!"
This review was everything, funny, informative, cinematic etc. I actually bought one, and I fully understand what you were talking about. One final note, Steve, you are one handsome man! 😍 love your reviews and this channel!

Fun and informative. Recently test drove the 650 and agree, way faster than you would think for its weight. Drives effortlessly. Also tried the Audi RS5 and although fast, no comparison. You have to rev the RS5 very high to get that oomph from the car whereas it's right there from the start when you put your foot on the gas pedal in the bimmer. Think I'm going to go for this car!
I'm a big fan of BMW, ever since I saw James Bond driving the 7! I like the newer 4 door grand coupe more. Its an amazing car. I currently own a regular 2012 528i and LOVVVVE IT!
This BMW 650i is one of a kind. It is my dream car (though I'd by the coupe version). I must say I really like your reviews Steve. You have your very own style which cleary differs from other shows like Top Gear and Fifth Gear. You just need a breakthrough. Jeremy should be afraid. Greetings from Norway.
I was set on purchasing this car next month and completely changed my mind on the type of vehicle I want to drive once I get rid of my lexus is250c convertible (the blue one that vossen wheels did a video shoot on). I am now getting a new Lotus Evora S with all options, touch decision but I must do it!
The feelings I have for this car; words can't describe! Would trade any car out there to own one of these masterpieces. Hope the designers have something even more special coming up for the 4th generation 6er.

like all new bmw models, wonderful but unfortunatly after the 2003-2010 models, they got me so looking forward for the new models but they didnt turn as beautiful as i expected them to be, but very nice work!!

man you can call me crazy but i like the old 6 much better. this one looks big and bulky. the older vers. had a unique shape to it that this new generation doesn't have. not too classy. but hey that's me.

I cant tell you what to buy, but I would pick the convertible if I was in such a lovely location, you are going to enjoy the weather more. Just test drive both of them and pick the one you like the most.
I prefer this to Top Gear. These reviews stick to being reviews, yet they have a sense of entertainment that doesnt make them seem like a scripted comedy like TG has become. This should be the US version.

Guess what? I did buy the car and have no regrets. Incredibly smooth and way faster than what you would think for is weight. Very elegant interior. Not exactly frugal in the gas consumption department but driving this car makes you forget everything else.
Really nice vid! Although as a German I am obligated by federal law to point out that automatic transmission is for the elderly and the physically impaired.
