- Absolutely Disgusting! Although this reaction image has been used frequently online, nobody knows what exactly the image was referring to. A news broadcast from the early 2000’s, this story has never been uncovered as most airings of this news station has been lost.

The guy in image is named Bob O'Brien.....and he unfortunately passed away in 2018 at the age of 75.

Absolutely depressing
I can't help but think of the incident where a guy was keeping girls locked in his house for years, in a normal looking neighborhood. My other thought would be some kind of hoarding situation (possibly with animals).
i agree with it being some kind of hoarding situation. idk why but it makes me think of the turpin house (which is obviously isn’t)

of course a girl would think keeping girls would be disgusting.

I always thought this image was in relation to an s-offender.
From what I remember there was a man during that time who became a bit of a lolcow on image boards and, due to the fact he would speak unashamedly about his desires, news stations would regularly harass him to farm outrage.
I could be completely wrong however there were a few similar screenshots from those news segments floating around during that time.
Nah, that's not where Absolutely Disgusting came from. The lolcow you're talking about is Dragonlord and that's in Germany so it wouldn't be this.

It's late 2002 to January 25, 2006 because WWOR dropped UPN branding the day after the CW was announced, like most Fox owned UPN affiliates.
I’ve looked around and all I could find that wasn’t mentioned in the video is that the reporter appears to be Bob O’Brien
this was solved in 2016. the full title says “absolutely disgusting: video shows two women spit on and attack elderly blind man”. the photo just has everything after “absolutely disgusting” blurred out.
news channels aren’t the best when it comes to documenting news stories if they don’t have much of an impact

I would say to cut the months when it snows in New Jersey. Cause why would it be sunny in November/December? I don’t live in New Jersey or New York. I think from what you’ve shown/ explained in this video, I would think it would be around March or August of the 2000’s I don’t know if this would help at all but I hope it does.

It does get sunny in November and December actually but maybe not march as much

I guarantee it's some sort of fucked up crime or hoarding situation if I remember how the news would react (use to live in the tri-state so that logo looks familiar)

is it possible to contact mike sacks? considering he was taking photos of the tv with a camera i can assume he doesn't have a recording but it's possible he could narrow the time frame even more
UPN used that logo from 2002 til their eventual shut down. Hope that helps a little bit.
Get Rainbolt to find the exact location of the broadcast and you can narrow it down from there

I remember I made edit of the meme with Clover from Totally Spies and the new Strawberry Shortcake, I also edited the text to say Disgusted instead of Disgusting.

I live in NY local area which is where that channel originates. I went through the Verizon online record through the cable channel and on-demand for WWOR TV Channel 9 (MyTV) it came back with nothing regarding their news broadcasts. If anyone has any suggestions on where else I could look through drop them below. 😁
Let's think about possible recordings on vhs tapes or other things from 2008 that might contain the whole broadcast

It was an Italian news report about discovering a Pizza place serving pizzas with Pineapple toppings.
